Transporter 2  (2005)

...its still a great movie. This is action sandwiched between two chunky slices of action with a little action as a side order. Jason Statham is cool, calm and collected as the main character, the bad guy is bad, the sidekick is french and the bad girl is sexy. Do you need to know any more? If you enjoyed Transporter you'll enjoy Transporter 2. In fact if you love any kind of blockbuster action, especially Jet Li/Jackie Chan, this is the movie for you. My only criticism is that in comparison to the first one its far too unbelievable (some of the stunts will make you laugh out loud and shout 'awww what?!!!') and also its too short at only 1hr 17mins. But apart from that, if you want a no brainer with plenty of style, this is your fella. Enjoy!

This is Just as good as the first movie probably better more action more stunts great acting and loads of punchy one liners just like the ole days of Arnie and Slys classic movies!! Dont miss this if you love cars or even if you dont!! V V V HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. WELL DONE JASE! AND CO.

If you're in the mood for some no-brainer action then this is the film for you, although the totally implausible yet audacious stunts may have you screaming at the screen. The fact that it heavily 'borrows' it's only bit of plot from the excellent Man on Fire reminds you how good it isn't. That said, it can be an enjoyable ride.

This is an action packed sequel that makes the big mistake of too much! The non stop action is frantic and loud and does not give you any chance for an entertaining plot. Most of the action is enhanced with obvious CGI effects. The one thing that made the first film so memorable was character chemistry and realistic brutal action. This just flys off to fantasy land with stupid car chases and unrealistic fights. Plenty of action, yes....... but at the expense of any character development. Cory Yuen has done far better action than this has to offer. A simple case of less would have been more.

I really liked this film, the fight scenes were influenced by eastern cinema rather than western and the car chases followed the same formula, OK it's not believable but it's not trying to be. Basically you'll either get it or you'll hate it.

What on earth is all this about? I enjoy action films, and I thought 'Transporter' was okay, but this is laughable, watch the action scenes carefuly and you will just say 'yeah right' unbelievable, watch out for the very nice Audi jumping of a building and land between floors on another building. I just thought it was funny - watch it but only for the comedy value.

Well all those who enjoyed The Transporter then Transporter 2 should hit the mark as well. Although there are a couple of stunts that are way over the top, especially one in the car, the story on the whole is very enjoyable, full of twists and turns and action packed. Well worth paying Transporter 2 a visit if you are a fan of the genre.

Great to see Stratham back in his role. Don't expect a serious flick but sit back and enjoy the ride as it goes from the mad to the absurd (especially landing that car before the helicopter!). Especially nice to see where girls in bikinis shooting stuff up with frickin lasers. No sharks but hey can't have everything :-) Hopefully no more Ghost of Mars style flicks for JS now !

not sure about this one?! on the one hand it was fairly entertaining,but on the other hand if you really think about it..... it could have been so much better. Its a shame though,because potentially this dude could be alot better than James Bond.

DO: Watch this film and enjoy it for what it is. Spectacular nonsense, with (I was surprised to note) more than a glimmer of directorial flair. DO NOT: Take this movie seriously. Or bother with the extras. (Yawn.) Try as he might, Frank (the eponymous Transporter) will never be a match for Bond, although this movie does beat Die Another Day hands down for entertainment value. And much like xXx: State of the Union, it's better at what it does than its own predecessor. Take with a pinch of salt and half a bottle of decent red. Pizza advisable. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist, see Casino Royale.

More of the same though this time set in Miami, so if you liked the first film's mix of action and stunts you'll love this.

Jason Stratham carries off his role very well although the "cod" American accent did grate at times.

Of particular interest and worth a second look is the hosepipe fight scene - watch out Indiana Jones!
The soundtrack wasn't as inspiring as the first but it's far from disappointing though I wouldn't give it any shelf space.

Overall good entertainment and I look forward to the inevitable "Transporter 3".

This film was not what you would expect. Special effects took a main part of the budget with the scraps going to the writers for the storyline. On more than one occasion the script gets Jason Stantham into such a complicated situation that only some suspension of reality will enable him to get out alive. While this is quite amusing, it kind of detracts from what is otherwise a enjoyable 2 hours. I would recommend renting this film but only if you like shameless fight scenes, ridiculous plot lines and a lot of matrixesque moments.

All the standard stuff is here. Monosyllabic, lantern-jawed, Teflon-coated hero. Bumbling law enforcement who mistake him for the bad guy. Vicious villain with moronic sidekicks easily battered by hero. Psychotic killer female baddie (having her do her killing dressed in Ann Summers S&M range was a nice touch bound to be appreciated by fans of Bravo and Discovery Men & Motors). Hero's trademark oneliners ('Rule Number 1', 'I never make promises I can't keep', etc). Product placement (Audi and iPod are well-served), car chases (lots) and fight scenes (lots). Everything I usually despise in a film, so I should have hated it, but I didn't because it zips along and, if you treat it as a video game with slightly better CGI, it is very entertaining.

This film is exactly what you expect, lots of action & car chases. It was exciting and fun. I dont know what the previous review was expecting but this is a good well made film. Of course if you want something deep and intelligent then this is not the film for you. Also I don't think there was one swear word in the whole film which was a pleasant suprise and made it suitable for the teenagers.

Having thoroughly enjoyed The Transporter, I looked forward to seeing this film. While the original was tongue in cheek, it still kept close enough to reality to keep me glued to the screen and entertained throughout. Transporter 2 has none of the panache and style of the original and suffers from a bad case of sequel-itis. Suspension of disbelief is required almost immediately the film begins - but there is nothing about the film that makes me want to suspend disbelief. Complete puerile drivel.

From start to finish a film well worth watching

I haven't seen the first Transporter film and quite frankly after having to endure this one, I won't be watching it. Thought this film was awful-dialogue was cheesy and acting was stilted. The action scenes were ok but too far fetched and found myself laughing out loud at several parts.

Don't waste your time with this!

Good no-brainer bloke movie. Jason Statham continues to be a very competent action hero and the stunt sequences are of the highest order. The film is not going to win any awards but anyone who enjoyed the original will not be disappointed and like me will wait for the next in this franchise. Only criticism was that the baddies were risable and that even includes the usually much better Jason Flemyng. Worst of all though and really surprisingly poor was Matthew Modine, I can only presume that he was jet-lagged as every line he says is delivered wrong and made us laugh when we watched the film. You know exactly what you are getting when you rent this and if you like the genre you will be quite satisfied but not blown away.

With no real plot and action that goes on and on; i was having a good time. But then it ended, and i looked up at the clock to see i'd spent only 70 minutes of the all important Saturday night on this film. Dont waste a priority rental on this, but its good fun.

For once suspend profound thought and deep meaningful observation and enjoy a grown up Teen Movie. Its a kind of Jackie Li meets Cool Hand Luke meets James Bond movie. You know the type, slick cool lone super-hero defeats hordes of bad guys in totally impossible scenarios, and set stunts after stunt. However it hangs together well, and the choreography is superb. If you are the type who always loves to make profound comment and design the Holy Grail of intellectual movies and cant relax once in a while - get a life and try elsewhere - otherwise crack open a Lager, grab a bucket of fat laden non-PC crisps and enjoy. This is as close as the Americans would ever get to a James Bond type charactor without loosing the 'Miami Vice tough guy' kind of image the Americans love so much. Relax, Regress and Enjoy, its a Hoot .

Frank Martin is back, bigger, badder and balder than before. If you like insane fighting skills, fast cars, impossible stunts and hot women in their underwear shooting up the place with machine guns then you'll love this!

Here we go again,if you liked the first one then youll like this.action,action,action its like steven segal on drugs! Some of it was a bit o.t.t (theres got to be an easier way to take a bomb off the bottom of your car!)but all in all this is what fridays are made for,well, as well as beer and kebabs!!!

Cheaper and more unreal version of Man on fire, but very entertaining to watch!

Second outing of this franchise and it was easily as good as the first. My partner loves Jason Statham as much as I love action sequecences. Give it a Go

rule number 1. make a sequel that kicks as much ass as the first, add a few more chases & crazier stunts. rule number 2. make the fights more bonecrunching & realistic than most other sequels ,xxx2 anyone . rule number 3. the promise. promise to make part 3 as enjoyable as the first 2. rule number 4 . dont break your promise

If anyone knocks this, then you aint happy watching films, you're happy critising them. This has lots of action.Ok so the bomb on the crane was far fetched, but so WHAT! its a film and i personally liked the far fetched bit. One of best films of the year.Action all the way,some great gun shooting throughout. Good story aswell. Nice to see that films can still be made as good as SAW II. The only 2 films this year i have seen worth watching.

Crap script, crap setup, way over the top stunts all in all a pretty bad movie, but then it is a John Woo film. Worth a watch especially for that Audi!! The Actors and that Audi, make up for the rest.

Great over the top effects and violence. Fab cars stole the show, and the weak plot wasn't noticable. Enjoy!

The first Transporter film had a gritty edge and worked very well. The second had hollywood artistic license and over the top stunts that at times were ludicrous. Removing a bomb from underneath the car with a crane hook whilst flying in said car upside down????????? Give me a break. For me the sequal did not live up to the promise of the first.

A brill film, over the top in places but to be better than the first it would have to be. Grate fight scenes with loads of humer and grate moves and as befor a story line that dose carry through You will not get bord with this film you dont get time!!!!

Saw the first Transporter and thought it was fairly good as a lower budget film. This time its gone very Americanised with the ridiculous scenes at times. Parts of the film were ok but were let down by other parts. Glad I didn't pay to see at the cinema. Doesn't put me off watching J Statham.

well, i think the transporter movies have got to go down as one of the biggest surprise hit 2 movies to come out for a long time, why?, well i have tried to put my finger on it, but just can't, its quite simply a rip roaring ride ( litrally) from start to finish. i would recomend to see number 1 first if you havnt done so, that will mearly get you in the mood for the superb transporter 2. the car chase scenes can be at times a tad far fetched, but you just dont care, fantastic entertainment from start to finish.staham is a great hero with good 'jackie chan' style fight scenes, brilliantly done. if these movies are in your ' cant be bothered' list, just try them, you will be pleasently surprised believe me. one thing though.....jason lose the american accent please!!! its awfull at times, but again you dont care. 5 stars easy.

What can i say but Great! Very enjoyable film. Good story, good action and fight scenes, amazing car scenes and one AMAZINGLY SEXY woman. When the special edition box set comes out i will be buying. I do hope that there is a Transporter 3 in the pipe line for the future.

Then this is the one for you, the action never stops from start till finish, equally as good as the first film if not better. Well worth watching.

the special effects have gone a bit more tounge in cheek,(what happened to good old fashioned stunt men),but never the less a quality film right up there with the best and a must see if youve seen the first and enjoyed it as you wont be dissapointed.

Despite the fact that Transporter 2 was extremely corny (much like the first)i enjoyed it very much. Jason Statham is a good actor for parts like this and is also not bad to look at :-)

A little more fantasy is this one than the first but still very watchable. Great action and good story. Good recommended action movie.

This movie was so overboard with action clips that would be hard to even beleave in your dreams. I thought it was great and it kept me entertained from the beginning. Full marks i hope we get more of these overboard action movies. Go rent it now

Good mindless action movie but not much more to it than that. The fight scenes are entertaining (very Jackie Chan-esque in parts) but there's a few too many of them and although the stunts are undoubtedly cool, certain scenes caused much incredulous laughter in our household - talk about mission impossible! Having said that it is entertaining and certainly isn't a bad way to spend an hour and a half.

We enjoyed this film. Although it was totally far fetched it was still worth watching for entertainment value. Good pace throughout.

Statham didn't strike me as an obovious action star after Lock, Stock. But he is great in this and I'd go as far to say it's even better than the original which I thought was great too. I love Luc Besson films and this is as fast paced and action packed as Taxi, Leon, Fith Element. If you like his films, you'll love it. Not to be missed.

The volkswagen group have shown the extent to which companies nowadays go to advertise their products. The Audi A8, A4 and the murcialago are examples. I wanted to go out to get myself an A8 after watching the movie! What about Hummer? Good special effects though, great fight scenes.

The original Transporter was brilliant. Transporter 2 is unfortuantely a classic example of a hollywood over the top, special effects overload & no plot film.Obviously the writers had no idea of how to follow the original film. The effects are SOoooo over the top in this film they have to be seen to be believed !! Jason Statham does his best....but this film does him no justice. POOR POOR POOR !!!

Ex-special forces operative and superlative getaway driver turned slave liberator and international immigrant smuggling ring smasher Frank Martin is back. Wow. With so many jobs, it's no wonder he needs more than one first name... And this time around he gets to add nanny, chauffeur and saviour of the free world to the list! It's a great fun film. More light hearted and with far less believable fight scenes than the first film, it's still a real pleasure to watch as Jason Statham marches his impeccably besuited character through hordes of over-equipped and under-competent villains, leaving their battered bodies bleeding in his wake. Frank Martin is rather like a cross between Michael 'One Man Can Make a Difference' Knight and James Bond with his love for cars and sartorial style. This time around, he's in a race against time (can you name a film where the hero isn't?) to save a young boy (and incidentally, the US government and members of various international anti-drugs organisations) from a GM virus invented by those nasty Columbian drug lords. Needless to say, they don't stand a chance! OK, I'll admit I've taken the mick during this review, but I gave it four stars and have all my fingers and toes crossed they make a third in the series! It's cracking stuff, give it a try.

The usual over top kick arse movie, still I watched it twice so it can't be that bad!

As per the 1st film, this one doesn't let you down! Fantastic, lots of action, lots of Jason (mmmmmmmmmmmmm, he is so yummy!) and some good laughs. Go watch it, what are you waiting for?!!

If you like transporter you will be disapointed with this sequel. Hollywood have turned this into another run of the mill car chase. All the cliché are in, kidnapping, S.American baddy, lovely small boy.

Forget all other films this year and just watch this one. It never tries to be anything other than a good action film. No boring 'messages' or pretentions just slick SFX and fight scenes. Will also do wonders for Audi sales! Rent it!!

From start to end totally improbable and unbelievable plot. Predictable with the odd bang here and there to make the clips look good. Basically total waste of time the total opposite to No1.

After the rubbish REVOLVER our hopes are brought back to some sort of normality of a good film with STATHAM in again. I think better than the first.Drifts into some UNBELIEVABLE stunts in the JAMES BOND EARA! but WHO CARES if its looks good,then i don't personally care. More action than the first one i thought. Wrongly accused this time.I thought the fight in the first 5 minutes was brilliantly done.

Stylish well choreographed action sequences with the sexiest Audi you have ever seen. Jason Statham picks up where he left off. The french detective is back although I don't know why. No subtle plot just simple good fun. Some far fetched stunts, but too good to care

Brilliant film. Good looking lead man, drives like the very devil. Seriously sexy wheels with engines that sound the business - I know which car I'll have now when the lotto numbers come in! Great stunts - some a little far fetched - but hey - that's what escapism is all about. Watched this film TWICE before we returned it. Well recommended.

Film starts off like 'Man on Fire' where Jason Statham is a bodyguard to a child who in turn gets kidnapped. Rest of the film is Statham chasing the bad guys with exaggerated stunts abound, felt like I was watching a bollywood film!!

This film is just great fun and escapism!

One for all those petrol hrads that like to see the rubber burn.

I liked the first Transporter film which suprised me cause I though it would be kack. This one was too over the top for me to like.

This film doesn't quite match the slickness of the first film. The stunts are great, but many of them are unrealistic and only deserve to be in a comic book. The storyline is ok, if a little weak. HOWEVER, the fight scenes are awesome. Jason Statham makes Steven Segal and Jean-claude Van Damme look like kids fighting in a playground. Plus he did most of the stunts himself. Impressive for that alone.

Not my kind of film but my husband gave it a full 10 out of 10, thumbs up. Superb film

This is an excellent action film and will keep the majority of people entertained for a weekend afternoon. The acting and the script are a bit weak (in a similar manner to the first film), but that is not what this film is about. There are loads of good action scenes and some decent bad guys, which an improvement from the first film. The one area where this film is let down is by trying too hard with some of the CGI. You will understand when you watch the film, but there are 3 main sequences where simple action sequences would have made the film much better.

As we enjoyed the first Transporter movie, this was just as fast, good stunts & effects & action packed, blink & you might miss some wicked fighting techniques.The story line was very much what i have seen in previous films like Mission impossible 2 ? and the ending was abit dissappointing but still a very good film but then who cares when you have a cool actor like Jason Statham.

I thought i would give this a try and to be honest you cant go far wrong if you have nothing to do one evening, its worth a watch some good chases and some great fight scenes, and of course the odd stunt that makes you wonder why they put it in and you reach for the nose clip as it stinks!! Other than that a good film

I received this movie by mistake,god I wish I did't,yep lots of action,and nice cars,believable? noway,,,in my world this movie was total nonscence.

Complete rubbish from start to end. The first film was good - an undemanding, well-made action no-brainer that utilised the fact that Statham looks good in a (well-choreographed) fight. The fight scenes in this are a mess of lightning-fast editing, the fx-enhanced stunts are embarrassing, and Statham, who is never in a just world going to win an award for his acting, almost pulls a muscle in an attempt to be 'cool' every time he opens his mouth.

It was action packed with a brilliant predictable story, easy to watch very entertaining. all the family enjoyed this film.

..that's about it though. Would have been a half decent movie if the stunts were a little bit more believable. Actually, I urge you to rent this film just so that you can see 'car park stunt' and the 'bomb under the car stunt'.

I quite exjoyed the first one so watched this. Some of the stunts and fighting is just completely unbelievable but was worth watching.

Firstly this is without a doubt one of the worst sequels ever in film history!! Like the 1st movie was average enough but this is down right scandalous! The acting is abysmal with very little work needing to be done. The story lacks any depth and background what so ever! The film skips and dashes on a high speed and you can never really keep up. Ok I give it credit it does look pretty good in certain areas but the action set pieces are so unrealistic and fake (I mean knocking off a bomb while twisting in the air? come on!). The film is so short, the characters are 1 dimensional, the action is only remotely interesting; the black car is the only decent thing in this movie that looks good! I could seriously go on a bit more at to how bad this movie is but ill cut it off here. Oh wait Luc Besson should be ashamed! 1 out of 5 stars

Sequels by their nature are always short on plit and heavier on action and this film is no different. The is weak and so is the over exaggerated wooden acting but if you want a saturday night no brainer comic film then this is it. So enjoy, its only on for a short while!

I highly recommend this movie. It's one of the rare flicks that manages to outdo the original. Superb action scenes, brilliant shots, and as action films go: great storyline. Very sexy movie: Jason at his best so far!

Sometimes when your list gets a bit thin you have to think of a gap filler,one of those films that you think will be a bit crap but hope that you are proved wrong.Well this film didn't prove me wrong at all,it was crap and i turned it off after half an hour. A film that tries to cover up for the bad acting by trying to be a bit funny,sad old cliches that don't work but just go on to prove just how bad it is!,a cross between baywatch and james bond (rent a james bond film from the 60's and it will beat this hands down!). It's just so sad that people have rated this so highly as to influence other people to rent it when they are obviously so void of intelligence that they don't know a good film when they see it. Absolutely dreadful.

Close to being the worst film i've ever seen,awful acting,awful CGI,awful stunts, the stunts are so unbelievable,they made me laugh,really origional plot (i think not)i can't see any one apart from children who would find this good, why did they bother!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leave your brain in a box outside. Saying that it was entertaining and enjoyable to watch even if you forget it as soon as its over.

You dont watch this film cause you want a gripping story line, it's the expected good fun beat em up car chase type of entertainment. Brains not required!

The story line was mint, and the grapics are amazing, there are no bad things about it.

Jason Statham deserves a much higher status in the movie world, in fact he should have been seriously considered to play the next James Bond!! Transport 2 was, as expected, fast action, not as good as Transporter and could have been really good if the screen writer had made more of the oportunity to create a really good storyline.But as usual Jason carried the film and we were able to enjoy it although it was a little short!!we will add it to the library.

We both enjoyed this movie, very exciting and fun to watch. Would like to see Transporter 1.

A smooth flowing film, ideal for action junkies. Some great fight and driving scenes keeping you hooked from the start. Comic releif provided form the laid back french detective. I thought it was a bit like Arnie's Commando epic from the 80's. You'll get the sudden need to go out a buy a big black saloon with driving gloves to boot. Not for those who revel in storylines.

I really enjoyed the first Transporter but unfortunatly this film seems to have taken all the good parts of the first film and then exagerate them to a point of being unbelievable. They have also tried to imitate jacky chan style martial arts (badly). a very poor sequel in my opinion it has been made into a hollywood film and lacks realism.

If you can ignore some of the very far fetched stunts that happen in this film you will enjoy this film. It is action from star to finish and is short enough for you not to get bored. It is as good as the first film and if you liked that you will love this.

Good movie, not as good as the original but how many movies ever are? Interesting storyline... some good action sequence however its let down by some scenes being so completely unrealistic it just becomes a joke. The bomb on the bottom of the car scene for one is terrible.

I really enjoyed this film even though some of the stunts were to far fetched, but if u want a high octane speedy little movie, watch this cos it is very enjoyable

This movie has gone a bit over the top on the action....2hrs of it can become a little tedious. Nonetheless if you are in the mood for this type of film, it is a good one to watch and you won't risk falling asleep!!

This film was ok. The first one was alot better but the first one always seems to be the better one. I expected too much from this film with the amount of fab reviews it had but not too bad

total rubbish in comparison to The Transporter, French policmen has a terrible part which is a shame as previous movie it was a brilliant one, special effects are simular to James Bond (I love James Bond - but thats not what I was expecting) and a weak story line in my opionion, nothing to do with a transporter.

What can i say. Just really, really stupid.

If you liked the action choreography of the first film, you'll hate Transporter 2. The formula of brilliant fight scenes and over-the-top action have been replace with . . . over-the-top action and nothing else. There's only one decent fight scene (about an hour in)and it may be worth the rental just for this, but the rest of the film is crammed with CGI explosions and CGI dives and CGI gunshots. Admitedly the first film isn't Citizen Kane, but at least the action looked bone-crunchingly authentic. Transport 2 simply looks like an Arnie vehicle. A serious disappointment.

This was a fast paced, if slightly less belivable film than the first film. But it was an enjoyable romp with Jason Statham doing what he does best, flinging himself and various vehicles about the place with extreme prejudice. Not a great story-line, but who cares, it was good action only a little on the short side.

this movie is as good as any hong kong cinema action flick. the hero never uses a gun, and believe it or not, there is no obscene language. but the hero still gets the job done slickly, and in a great car.

Not as good as the first one. Wasn't expecting it to be very mentally taxing but it was just ridiculous. Stunts were laughable and as a fan of the first film I was very disappointed and bored with it half way through.

A fun Movie with some very over the top stunts, better than 007! if they ever turn 'Hitman' into a movie then should use this man!!

If the choice is watch this or poke your eyes out, reach for the sharp stick. We were embarrassed.

But strangely fun none the less. The CGI is dire, the 'acting' painful and the story totally pointless and nonsensical, but if you want to just switch off for 80 minutes and watch some pretty cool car chases (when the CG doesn't get in the way) and some fairly fun fights, this will entertain.

Wow!! Statham's character has turned into some kind of 'Super Hero'. He can jump out of 3rd story windows and survive, dodge bullets, disable guys who have guns pointing at him without them even getting off a shot, ride cars off of one building and have it drop at least 50 feet before landing and not even give it a scratch. Complete tosh!! If you're going to have normal 'human' action heroes then at least make them vulnerable like a normal human and not like some superhuman. Disappointing.

I'm amazed by the number of people giving this film 5 stars, as it is a poor imitation of the first film. There wasn't as much action, the set pieces weren't as good, it wasn't as funny and some of the acting was terrible (Jason Flemyng, I'm talking about you). I really enjoyed the first film, OK it wasn't high art but it was great fun. The sequel could have been so much better than it ended up.

Started fantastically, Unfortunately the producers/directors thought that the end should be non-stop frenzy. Don't get me wrong - still a good film but it could have been better at the end.

This film was nowhere near as good as the first. Jason Statham always lovely to watch though, but the film was a big let down.

Gotta be one of the worst action films I have ever seen. The 'story' is just plain pathetic and the acting is amateur in the extreme. Felt like turning it off but found myself laughing through it, especially the indestructible audi. Also the transporter (can't remember his name) should be the new superman as he can fall great distances without even a muscle pull. Rubbish in the extreme!!!

Wow this film must have bin made by eight year olds. The plot doesn’t work. The acting is poor and most of all the stunts are not realistic. How am I suppost to buy into a film when it has an armoured Audi A8 with a w12 engine, seemingly flying vertically 100 feet between high-rises. Pathetic. Makes James bond look realistic (that’s saying something).

Apart from the dodgy special effect :- shame! the film is good. Only seemed to last half an hour tho.

An excitingly different action movie that tries too hard. The lead role is well acted and enigmatic. The characters are well defined and appealing. Some of the driving is really good...until some idiot got far too carried away with special effects. I liked the Audi but, WHAT SEASONED CAR NUT USES AN AUTOMATIC FOR A CAR CHASE!?!?. Far too many baddies against one person in the fight scenes too all add up to spoil the movie making it too thin and frankly annoying. Who cocked up? The Director. Yep, he should be ashamed! Who really stole the show? The sexy baddie girl. WOW SIZZLING HOT! Shame they couldn't have involved her character more at the end of the movie. You'll see what I mean if you watch it.

the fights are good, plot ok, but the stunts which he achieves are so outrageous and so unrealistic it ruins the film, desperate men do desperate things to survive but to attempt a billion to one shot and pull it off time after time is just taking the piss and f**king stupid, unless your superman or some other super hero.

Thought i'd give this film a go as nothing was interesting me at the time and i was pleasantly surprised. I thought the budget and the acting let the first film down but both were good in this. If your an action fan this is well worth a look rather than the straight to DVD Steven Seagal films

This film is immense - much better than the first. So much continuous action that you cant take your eyes of the screen for a minute. Ok if you dont like action films why did you rent it and then slate it..... ok plot is a litle far feached but certainly best movie ive seen in ages - better than Superman / Pirates of carribean 2 ect... If you liked the first movie then you are in for an absolute treat with the sequel. Action packed footage, great cars, great fighting (makes it look easy !), and one great gal, all combine to make Frank an absolute Star whilst taking an investigation on Single handedly and coming out the hero once again. .... Transporter 3 ?, cant wait.

Brillient. The stunts were just fantastic. Normally you find the 2nd is always a let down, but not this one. It's hard to say which of the two transpoters is the best they are equally brillient. I'm glad I wasn't put off by some of the reveiws I read. It tells the story of a young boy kidnapped so thst he can contaminate his father, who in turn contaminates the everyone at the talk. Well worth watching

This film is excellent, go to the toilet and all the other things you need to do before this movie starts. It will have you glued to your seat from start to finnish. It is none stop action with a good story line. Better than Transporter 1, the car sceens are brilliant, unseen stunts that will amaze you.One of the best films i have seen this year.

If it had been called 'Some other car-chase action movie with Jason Statham, but not related to Transporter' then it would have been a very good movie. Jason Flemyng is very believable as a Russian.

Really enjoyed this movie. It simply great fun But Jasons American accent was not needed by inference Special forces with a Brit accent implies SAS training far more kudos than American Green Berets. Stunts completely over the top but great entertainment. Far better than Van Deisel.

If you like Gone in 60 seconds, you'll love this, for anyone else it's a brain dead movie moving from Kung Fu to car chases with no rhyme or reason to it. I've placed one star because it won't let me put in 0 stars but it's piss poor is what i'm trying to say. Rgds, Noel

what you see is what you get. Big time CGI, jaw dropping stunts - & I don't care if they are so clearly CGI!!! Great fun, look forward to the next one. Absolute loads of rubbish & proud to admit it!!

Transporter one was better:)

I enjoyed The Transporter and couldn't wait to see Transporter 2. Now I wish I hadn't rented it. It is a poor relation to The Transporter in every department. The stunts in this are overblown and totally unrealistic. At times it feels more like a computer game than a film. The film is not as visually stunning as the first film. The film lens has been tinted acid green for some strange reason. There is just no chemistry between Frank and the lead actresses in this film as there was between Frank and Li. Purely judged as an action film this is passable entertainment, but judged as a sequel it it is disappointing.

This was really good. The plot lost its way a bit towards the end but was more than made up for in the stunts and humour. Jason Stratham is a real english superstar.

The film is a great martial arts movie, Shame about the stupid car chase scene's and inpossible stunts. eg a car jumping from a 5 story carpark with no damage. Without out those it would get 5 stars.

This film is so bad it's funny - crazy stunts and ripped off fight scenes make this a film you wont want to tell anyone you've watched - but sit back, close the curtains, press play and enjoy.

Completely unrealistic stunts, but totally watchable.

A decent action film. Keeps one foot in good entertainment and dips its other into the Sea of Stupidity, but it does it so well. Doesn't require a complicated plot, (which is just as well 'cos it doesn't have one), because the fight scenes are excellent. Possibly not as good as the first film which is the call of many a sequel but a good one to watch as long as you're not trying to make it a believable experience.

Looked like it was going to be a totally predictable movie. Not so. The plot was, but the action was not. A great mixture of 007 and Superman. Very entertaining.

This guy is impossibly cool - drives fast; leaps from tall buildings yet gets up with no more than a scratch; takes on a cast of thousands in unarmed combat; swims away from a plane crash etc... The plot has more holes than a fishing net, but the film is fast, fun, full of action and not to be taken too seriously.

great movie, good all round action adventure movie.

This was really not a bad film appart from some stunts that were just plain silly. For example apparently the easiest way to get something off your your is to charge at a ramp so that only two wheels hit it. This sends you up into the air, you roll over in mid air so that the hook of a crane just happens to hit the small object whilst you're upside down and the continue the roll and land on your wheels again. Just plain silly

The Transporter had a certain something that made it a great action flick, this sequel, while technically good and well done, lacks the same something imho. Statham is great at this role, and ultimately this is an OK action film with enough explosions to keep fans entertained, just don't expect any compelling depth or charaters.

...you need your head examining. I can only imagine that girls and gay guys could have got anything out of that film, and only then for the fight scene where Statham wrestles his clothes off in oil!! This film, whilst at times more ridiculous than anything the Bond producers have dreampt up, is much better than the original. It actually has something of a storyline. Yes as mentioned the director get's a little carried away (look for the way in which Statham avoids being blown up in his car!!!) but on the whole it's not too bad. You wont see world class acting, you wont see a twisting story line that grips you from start to finish (and you wont see Statham in oil). What you will see is an ok action film that should happily fill an evening for you

I had'nt seen this before and went off reviews, Most surprised as it's a James Bond type character who drives around carrying goods or people with no questions asked. Fight scenes and stunt driving scenes are well carried out and work well with the plot of the movie! Definately worth watching The First movie first to get the idea of what the character does (and does well!) Really good film and well worth viewing.

Sadly I've not seen the first film (although have now added it to my selection), but I don't believe you really need to have seen 1 before this. It's a typical action film, with some decent stunts that provides an entertaining, non-brain-taxing 82 minutes. The plot is ok, if somewhat predicatable, but to be fair it's little difficult to do the 'money crazed bad guy plots to kill people with oodles of henchman and a fiendish plan' again and again. Character depiction is good, although there are some stereotypes slotted in, like the Russian gangsters, sex crazed female lead, with clear lines between good and 'evil'. Overall, a great film to throw on, sit back and relax into, even more so with a few friends. If you like your action films, you'll get kicks out of it!

I wasn't expecting anything clever or elaborate AND I didn't get it! Really dumb stuff...if you enjoyed XXX2 and are an adolescent boy then rent it. If not, avoid it like the plague. Lowers the bar for rubbish action films.

I like Jason Statham - he's a real no-nonsense hard working actor that clearly puts his all into his work. This pays off well, even in such ludicrous fun as this fast paced nonsensical action flick. Explosions, car chases, incredibly choreographed stunts - it's all here in abundance, held together by Statham's superb screen prescene and charisma. If you don't want to think for a change and want some fantastic meaningless action fun then it doesn't get much better than this.

Excellent OTT action. Well worth the watch

Not very good dialogue or story, I have lost count of how many films have been made with this story and this wasn't one of the best. Very far fetched but my husband loved the action I thought they were trying too hard to be a mixture of Jackie Chan and Matrix.

I waited with anticipation for this sequal after really enjoying 'Transporter 1'.

Unfortunately I found the story weak, the effects far to over the top and all in all was very disappointed.

Stick with 'Transporter 1' which is excellent with fantastic car chase scenes.

I eagerly awaited this sequel after really, really enjoying the original, however I feel cheated by this poor effort.

I don't have a problem with action scenes being far fetched, however I do have a problem with them being downright stupid, which I found several scenes to be. The storyline was incredibly weak and elements of it truly unbelievable.

In reality the main character would have met his demise at the first opportunity 5 minutes in, along with clique 'let me explain my exact plot to you at every opportunity' bad guys.

Simply terrible. Waste of Jason Statham's talent and strong flavours of an Audi advertisement.

Very Cheesy, but still good to watch

Oh Dear!....I saw the first film a few weeks before this one and i actually quite enjoyed it even though i thought it was a little over the top! So then i decided to see this one.....! Some of the special effects etc are good and small bits of the film are good but all in all i thought it was spoilt with just too much silly, way over the top stunts and cheesy lines. Also the acting was very very bad with the exeption of Jason statham who is a good actor and is too good for the film. All in all i enjoyed the first one much more and although this had potential it was badly let down in the end.

I liked this film it had good fight scenes and chase scenes with only a few dodgy special fx. the story line could have been a bit better and i'm not sure about the indestructable car either.

I can only compliment Jason Statham’s physical ability in this film and others, coming across somewhat like a European version of Jackie Chan. The scene with the hose reminds me of the horseshoe scene in shanghai Noon. This aside I must mention that this film has the most unrealistic and totally dumbfounding car stunt I have ever seen in a movie. If you enjoyed the first installment and thought that the 7 series wheelspin, jump over a wall and land on the back of a truck was ridiculous then consider multiplying this by about 5 and you get close to a couple of the stunts in this movie. As an engineer the car scenes in transporter 2 are laughable yet entertaining nonetheless, it makes me laugh actually just thinking about the flying corkscrew spin, to clip bomb off on a crane with a perfecting landing without a scratch. All in all an enjoyable film not to be taken seriously.

OH MY GOD! MAKES 007 BELIEVABLE.

Thankfully I haven't seen Transporter 1 and after seeing this rubbish, I won't bother. The stunts were ridiculously far-fetched (doing a 180 spin to knock a bomb of the underneath of the car???) and the fight scenes were Jackie Chan rip-offs done very badly. The plot was ludicrous and the acting distinctly average even given Stathams 'minimalist' style. If the film had been designated a sci-fi thriller, it may have justified the overuse of poor CGI and 'Matrix style' stunts but as a straight forward thriller, it missed the mark by miles.

I have to say I wasn't really anticipating a great sequel, with Jason Statham returning as Frank, a stern character with a rough shell and soft interior so to speak. This film wasn't without it's problems, a few of the CGI scenes were very dissapointing, but only one or two, the same can be said with some of the stunts however not such dissapoiting as far fetched, especially one of the car stunts (you'll see what I mean when you see it!) to say the least. However the Pro's I would say definately outweigh the cons, The first car chase is amasing and a few of the other chases are very good, the action scenes, gunfights and especially the fight scenes are fantastic, very Hong King martial arts with great coreography (think you spell it like that), the soundtrack is pretty good, my only bug with that is they use the song from Sin City and everytime it came on, that's all I could think off!! If you like the original it's definately worth checking out, I enjoyed it, a good action packed film!!!

A top quality non-stop action film that doesn't take itself quite as seriously as the original Transporter. Great fight sequences with some innovative ideas. It's safe to say some of the car manoeuvres are a little far-fetched, watch out for the bomb under the car scene, but it remains a great action film. Worth a watch.

Could have been a good movie but the stunts/special effects were way over the top and i thought spoilt the movie, and the main actor would look good on Eastenders!!!, Bruce Willis would have been a better choice.

If you had seen the first and liked it,like I did,then you will enjoy this. Where the first film was more of showing what Frank does for a job, this just shows how good he can do it. The plot is a tad weak, but its done well. Some of the effects are funny but its all in good spirits of the film. Makes me look at fire hoses in a whole new way.

A good second adventure for The Transporter - also had a bit more of a story to it this time. Good action, great driving, good stunts etc. An enjoyable watch.

I really liked the original Transporter. The sequel did as a sequel not dissapoint, but it wasn't quite like the initial rush in the original. A part from loads of action, Transporter 2 does spend more time on character development, and the story line is believeble. Good action flick - does everything it says it will on the box.

More action and unrealistic scenes of devastation but highly enjoyable. The car scenes are inventive and unbelievable but provide non stop action for a telegraphed plot. Put the brain in neutral and sit back and enjoy the pace of the movie.

The driving sequences were more fantastical, which is distracting. The plot was a bit thinner than the first.

I was glad they’d made another one as the first was great, but this one was just a little bit, been there, done that with some of the elements of the story. However it was all great action again, Jason doing a great job again revealing just a little more of his character. I just wish they had not abandoned his usual transporting ‘duties’ where the mystery of his mission really made the story intriguing. Jason however given the lacklustre story does a great job of making all very exciting. One to watch.

I Really enjoyed this film. I thought Frank was an interesting character with a different caring side especially around the child he was minding. The action was really good with good special effects, some of the stunts were tongue in cheak and if you can get around that a car can turn upside down in mid air to remove a mine, then it is worth watching

Just a standard shoot em up film, you don't need to put your brain into gear and it gets silly like the first one when he takes on 20 or 30 people in a fight and wins, but if you have a spare 90 mins it is mindless fun to enjoy. Certainly better than some but I'm not convinced I could take a 3rd installment!

Similar story to the far far superior, 'Man on Fire' with Denzel Washington. This film is so far fetched that I was beginning to think it was a comedy; except that it isnt funny and it certainly doesn’t entertain.

It's a really good wallpaper for the mind action flick. However, there are loads of stunts that you end up shouting 'No bloody way' such as a jetski that manages to keep going at 50mph on tarmac. Just a bit silly in places! I enjoyed it though.

If you don't read into the plot too much, ignore some rather bendy scaffolding poles and poor graphics here and there, you'll enjoy the film. Car chases are great, fight sequences totally unrealistic but great fun. And the blond pyscho in suspenders - way over the top, but brilliant!

Although this isn't a bad film and is watchable, unfortunately if you enjoyed the first transporter film, then you will probably be dissapointed by this one. Storyline pretty ropey, action scenes are nothing like the original film and basically Jason Statham is trying to carry the whole thing. If you haven't seen the first transporter, then don't bother with this and rent that instead!

Disappointing, a shadow to the first and even more OTT. Appalling CGI. This sequel simply did not work out, Luc Besson or not. At the end it implies Transporter III - hope they find their ground third time around if there is one!

The effects and stunts were absolutely the best i have seen for a long time. Well done, stuff you haven't seen before. I dont think Jason is the best actor on the planet but he's good in it and i am not sure if he is meant to be so deadpan in the face or he cant act but either way this film is one not to miss.

There's nothing worse than watching a film that takes 30 minutes to get going... Transporter 2 isn't one of those films. You get the point from the outset and from thereon its action action action... yeah, there's a lot of CGI which makes is slightly false (like a plane spinning round and round in the air diving towards the ground yet the actors still manage to have a good fight without banging their heads on the planes interior)... all in all though, it was truly fab! Well worth watching

If you liked Transporter 1 then you also like the genre, however as with many second movies it misses the mark that the first one hit. All though the action is good and the special effects, brilliant it seems to miss the tense almost explosive expectancy that was created with the first movie. As I said the special effects were great but really some were quite unbelievable. I suppose it is a tight line to navigate for the movie makers but in my opinion they missed the mark and over played it.

The first Transporter was immensely enjoyable as was this sequel. However some of this sequel is a little too far fetched even for Hollywood. The car chases are very good and do get the pulse going but every now and again for some unknown reason the director has chosen to throw in a totally unbelievable stunt that goes way too far. As other reviewers have said the CGI is disappointingly poor at times and is reminiscent of an early Playstation game. Still for 1 1/2 hours mindless entertainment this fits the bill perfectly.

well a truly great film starring jason strathom as the cool mr body gaurd who loves his car gadgets, and is now a minder for a little boy plenty of fighting scene,s and loads of action if you liked the first one this one is even better

It's rare for a sequel to blow its former self away, but T2 does just that. Out bonding bond on some levels, the in camera stunts are incredible and Jason S plays his part with a cool head and amazing skill. The use of the Sin City theme brought a smile to my face during an airbourne tracking shot and Franks method of removing a bomb from beneath his moving audi was an inspired stroke of genius. Can't wait for T3

I really liked the transporter's fresh take on the action genre with spectacular fight choreography and stunt driving, and it even had a bit of story thrown in too. However, this sequel is pretty much the same but without the extra 'fizz' that made the first so enjoyable. Statham seems to be plodding between uninspired and too ridiculous fight scenarios with the supporting cast seemingly dragged from panto. All this plus Jason Flemyng's ridiculous Russian accent make this one to avoid-just watch the original again instead!

Another good Jason S. film. Only drawback to this one over the first one, is some of the stunts are unbelivable. However, some good car sequences and action.

If you have seen the first one then you have to see this as well. Over all very good except one part in the car which is totally over the top, when you see it you will know what I mean, but who am I to complain as Statham kicks butt. When he takes on about six guys and dumps them all in the bin with his super martial arts and pole that was my best bit of the film. Recommended

Just as good as the first, keeps you in the seat. Although some parts were very far fetched.

I struggled but could get past Jason's appalling accent and face made of kiln dried wood, I could just about get past the incredibly obvious CGI additions to the real time stunts but I just got borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred with the use of an anorexic 'bad girl' who looked as if she would struggle to tote the rather enormous guns around. Pure teenage boys fodder, no proper violence or realism at all, not even enough to make me wince. We got to about 16 minutes in but just couldn't do it. Rent Skank instead, brainless but purposefully tongue in cheek, whereas this is self-conscious, badly executed pooh pooh.

I'm biased on this as I think Statham is one of the best martial artists in film. Comparing this to Transporter, the story is a lot less engaging therefore the film isn't quite as enjoyable. What really picks this up though is are the fight scenes. Once again Statham dishes out some ferocious beatings in generous quantities. These would be the undisputable high points of the film. As I said, the plot line itself just isn't a patch on the original but if you can deal with that, then this is worth it for the kickings.

Pure unrealistic action and fight scenes, however very satisfying to watch. A good bit of escapism provided you aren't somebody that watches films saying 'That could never happen'. High speed car chases hand to hand fighting and gun fighting what more can you ask for? A little more 'fluffy bunny' than the first, but still a good film

Really enjoyed the first one but the sequel should have never been made. A mate told me not to bother watching and I wished I had taken his advice. The only consolation was that the disc was scratched so it jumped forwards through some of it. Disappointed.

Just about everything in this film was unrealistic to the point that I was actually -laughing- at how stupid parts of it were, such as his car practically flying around. The pinacle of this is where his car has a bomb stuck to the underside, and he drives off a ramp, spins the car upsidedown under a crane, which knocks the bomb off leaving him to land safely. I give it 1 star merely because I got some laughs from the stupidity.

I absolutly love it. It was very tongue in cheek and if you took it with a pinch of salt you will love it to. The action is brillaint and doesnt stop. I recommend this to anyone and Jason is becoming king of the action films. 4 big stars to him

I loved the first film and couldn't wait to see this.... & what do they do....turn it into a joke. It's sooo over the top it's ridiculous, Jason should kick someones arse, in fact he should kick his own arse for agreeing to the script! Don't bother, you will just sit and say 'yeah right, as if' for most of it.

Quality film, a good yet tedious at times storyline and amazing special effects. Admittely, some bits arent realistic but netherless a worthwhile rent..............

Expected as good as i got in the first film and wasnt disapointed. Fantastic action all the way thruogh, maybe a little outragous but that adds to the fun of the film. Great action sequences throughout. Loved it.

A sequel is always more critically viewed but I did enjoy this and the way the characters and matching events went easily together. Despite horrific omissions in continuity at times, and the plausability factor went right down off the scale at times, the pace and beautifully balletic action of this film carried it through for me. If the continuity and plausibilty had been tighter then 5* easily......

Not as good as the first film. The plot was very thin and a bit predictable. However, the fight choreography was brilliant, very much like watching a British Jackie Chan (clever use of props!). Jason Statham is great as the action guy.

I really enjoyed Transporter, but this film didn't reach the same heights mainly because so many of the stunts and fights were so unbelievable. Most good action films have stunts that are actually possible, but this film just went off the deep end too much. It's watchable, but not a great film.

Not quite as good as the first and stretched the imagination more than it's prequel however still damn good entertainment.

I saw the first Transporter and thought as far as action films go it was quite good. And the second one is more of the same really but with more car chase action, more ridiculous stunts and more kick ass fighthing! Statham does a good job but hes no Jackie Chan is he! Overall opinion: its a perfect lads night in film. Its not to long so its not gonna totally bore you and with a few pints you wont even worry about the far fetched nature of alot of the action! It does exactly what it sets out to do and does it well

if u like james bond, mission impossible, triple x etc you will like this. no major plot good stunts lots of action would watch again

A NO BRAINER ACTION FILM. SOMETHING YOU CAN SIT AND WATCH FULL OF ACTION AND NOT HAVE TO THINK. TONGUE IN CHEEK AT TIMES BUT NONE STOP FROM START TO FINISH. THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE, COULD HAVE DONE WITH IT BEING LONGER. IT WAS GREAT FUN TO WATCH

Firstly, I just HAVE to get one of those Audis. After being smashed through a wall, flying through space into an empty building site and subsequently hitting every single acro holding up the ceiling of said building site, the car emerged without a single dent or scratch on the paintwork. Nothing, nada, zilch, squat. Talk about vorsprung durch technik! Now to the film. Not as good as the 1st - he's hardly a transporter, more of a bodyguard. Still, some good car chases & fight sequences to you entertained for 90mins.

As a previous reviewer said, there really is no plot to this film at all. It just doesn't add up at all. The fact that the film is based around a kid and Jason's attachment to the kid actually detracts, not adds to the film. Jason's attempt at a very slight american accent (listen for it, it's very fient but there) also shows where the film has gone - more hollywood and less substance. If you're looking for more of the first movie, you're going to be disappointed. There is not as much action, it's not quite as slick and it's not quite as fun. Which is a shame. At the end of the day, it's a good film. I'm glad I watched it but it's nothing more than mindless escapism. Not a priority listing.

Good fight scenes but the films let down by gaping holes in the plot and totaly unbelievable stunts. I was prepared to switch my brain off having reasonably enjoyed the original Transporter but this one you're gonna have to fully remove it.

this is a typical film if u want full action from a to z. though their is too much use of fantacy even when Frank is not a super natural human. but take it as entairtanment and dont bother to compare with real life or other film like mission impossible. you will enjoy if you are an action guy

A really cool, action packed movie, the first was good but this sequel is action packed from beginning to end. Its a shame we didn't get a bit more background information on the Dad's job as this may have given the film a bit more depth, but the non stop action more than made up for any slight lack in storyline. A definite Saturday night entertainer.

Slick loud and very action packed . Reminds me of the Hitman game . Wild plot , stylish acting and cool gear gadgets and cars . Not the worst way to spend a couple of hours.

If you like beautiful women and stunts and special effects. Then their is quite a bit of it in this. The acting is not A class in most cases leaves a lot to be desired but the action is top notch. It packs more of a punch than it's predecessor. All said this is a weekend movie that even the girlfriend would enjoy (hunks).

Love the guy in this movie he is hot as hell. Great for blokes to fill their action needs, Great for Girls for gorgeous rough and ready hottie to watch. Plot is nonsense but who cares it is fun to watch.

The uber cool Jason Stratham has plenty of sharp kick ass moves in this action packed film. The storyline has been done before but its great entertainment, and at under 90 mins not too long either. I watched it twice, which is something for me. Will be looking out for Transporter 3...

This film truly sucks. I dunno what else to say. I saw the first Transporter movie a few years back and enjoyed it. The script was interesting, the storyline very original but still believable, the action scenes entertaining without going over the top. The sequel is everything but that! The script is far feched but still could have been worked on to make something good. Instead, you get a pathetic, totally unbelievable storyline, wacky action scenes that completely defy the laws of physics (Its not Matrix!) and some seriously bad acting by the badies. Conclusion : Do not rent this film. (PS: I still don't get how he go's from the lamborgini to the jet plane! I mean one moment the car is racing underneath the plane that's about to take off, and the next, the plane does take off, the car blows up and the dude has somehow miraculously teleported himself into the airplane... maybe it is matrix after all)

Corny, but enjoyable if your prepared to put the impossible stunts out of your mind and accept them for what they are.

Good story line and Jason is great for the part. However the movie is ruined by over the top fight scenes and far fetched stunts. It could have been very good if the ridiculous stunts were cut out and the fights were one against two or three rather than 15. Plus as with the first film, the ending was a bit lame.

What a load of cr*p, i can't believe this even made it to production. With its far-fetched action scenes and wacky plot. The main character even manages to dodged bullets with ease, and uses some impressive fighting moves which u cant help but think was copied some martial acts film. U may of thought the first one was gud, but believe me, your not missing anything if u havnt seen Transporter 2 (its a joke).

Only discovered Jason Stathom in The Transporter, how did I miss him! Move over Bond! Transporter 2 was maybe not as good as the first but still enjoyable and full of action. Some far fetched moves but you had to laugh at them rather than cringe. Storyline was good, if a little predicatable but definately worth watching (even if just for the eye candy). Good film that can be enjoyed even if you haven't watched the first one.

it is also rather watchable. It is good because it is total escapism. Nothing in this film is realistic and star wars is more plausible in my opinion. In a plus note it is action all the way and there is a dodgy bimbo with a gun who seems to get a lot of camera time. Recommended for the beer and pizza crowd. On a final note may I recommend that Jason Statham take some acting lessons from Amber Valletta.

I really enjoyed Transporter 1 and could easily eat Jason Statham with a spoon but was quite disappointed with Transporter 2. I couldn't care about any of the characters, the story line was boring and the stunts/fights were at times totally silly. The only ray of sunshine was from the French inspector, which remined us of the previous film which all in all was much better.

This is one wicked film wud recommend every1 to watch it! x x x

After seeing the first a little while ago, i was looking forward to this. I found Transporter 1 to be a great film when not in the mood for anything too heavy. Some really good action sequences, with an interesting plot and a convincing and slightly comical love interest. Transporter 2 however seemed to fall a little flat. the action sequences were there, though not to the level that they were in the first with scenes like the oil fight, but the rest seemed a little absent. Oh well.

Jason Statham is out to stop the bad guys again. This time he is out to save the boy he's transporting while at the same time fend off the boys mothers advances and save the US from the virus selling drug dealing low life scum whilst at the same time trying to keep out of the clutches of the FBI. This is the best sequel ever made! Why I hear you ask. The answer is simple. The first film was crap. The acting was crap the stunts were way too over the top and while there are a lot of over the top stunts in this movie the budget is better the acting is better and its just a better watch all round. So if you did like the first one you will like this one and if you didn't like the first one at least it's watchable.

Should be more films like this & the actor,havn't seen him in anything else. Beter after watching the first 1,but still easy to get into. Definatly worth watching,not rearly for young kids tho

Now,I like action films and this one started out ok...but I hate when they start getting too far fetched and insulting my intelligence ( James Bond..need I say more..except for Casino Royale and a few of the early ones) but aside from that it was a good film !

Enjoyed the first Transporter film. This one was absolute rubbish. The car chase/stunt scenes were all far fetched, as was the story.

This is a terrible film with no plot what so ever. It is definitely aimed at a young male audience. However on the plus side it was only about 1 hour 20 minutes long so at least I had time to get the washing up done afterwards. Having said all that I did find it strangely entertaining but wouod stick with Transporter 1 in future.

An excellent sequel to the original film, where we find the character is still making safe deliveries even after he has lost them.

A fun film with plenty of action, fans of the first film won't be too disappointed with this second outing but I'm not sure a third one would be worthwhile or as entertaining. Although it is short it holds your attention for the whole time and you do feel gripped by it, loved the car chases and most of the special effects...although a couple leave you wondering why they bothered! Worth a watch if you enjoyed the first.

This is an all-action adrenaline fuelled film. Sure, some of the stunts are preposterous and would leave the hero as nothing more than a smear across the tarmac, but he wouldn't be a hero otherwise, would he? That said, the stunts are spectacular and very well done. Definitely one to see if you like action films. Dont get it out if spotting where the laws of physics are bent annoys you.

Very similar to the first movie but turns Statham into a nicer guy, still has the mean streak in him. Nice bond forming between him and the french copper. I do like Statham though, so maybe I am a bit bias.

I believe Jason is prob one of the best English actors about , Well the girlfriend thinks so . Full of action and with a storyline , always on the edge of seat action , great martial arts effects / choreography, only one part spoilt it ,and that was with a car scene . Other than that great follow up to the first and would recommend !

The Transport was a work of true action unfourtunately the sequel hasnt carried the moment too well, although it doesnt come to a complete halt. Many of the action sequences are inventive. The main downer is the direction of the film, it seems that its not quite the same, this may just be down to how good the original was. Same character different story.

Transporter 1, only with faster cars, bigger guns, and stunts to make you drool... You know what you are getting, so enjoy it for what it is...

This wasn't the best film I've ever seen, didn't help the fact that I haven't seen the first transporter film, some really good fight scenes and lol moments, great driving, story was okay.

This film is absolutely fantastic, it is full of action as you would expect and you can't wait too see what happens next. It really is a must film to watch if you like action packed movies.

This is equally as good as the first one if not better.

Loved the first and loved the second but for different reasons. First was unique and tried to be real the second builds on the mayhem of One and steps up two gears into pure fantasy bedlam. I mean the bad girl fights in her underwear and "dies in bed" and the Audi W12 is invincible, like our hero. Watch and watch again with a glass or two of wine.S

I must be one of the few who thought this was slightly better than the first film. The first was ok but not the classic a lot of people seem to think it was. It didn't have much of a story or plot and some of the stunts and fights were just too unbelievable. The second film still has plenty of action, fights, shoot-outs which are still a bit over the top but the story is better I think.

There are some great scenes, car chases, spectacular fights. It's all a bit over the top but for pure fun and action this is great for a nights viewing.

The DVD doesn't have many extras, 11 deleted scenes almost identical to the ones in the film, a 2 min blooper reel and strangely a 20 minute feature on the music for the film but only a 4 minute making of?? Overall 7/10

I enjoyed the original Transporter - good clean fun, action and, importantly, it didn't take itself too seriously. Transporter 2 carries along the entertainment.

Yes, the car stunts are way over the top - not a scratch on the car after being shot at, blown up, thrown through the air etc etc - but our man Frank is just so cool and composed - he even has a vacuum packed change of shirt, suit and tie in the boot!

What is exceptional are the fight scenes. Brilliantly choreographed, innovative, fresh and very enjoyable - he takes a bunch of baddies with a fire hose in one scene! No over long Matrix style never ending punch ups here - slick, fast and original set pieces with a touch of humour. Excellent.

This is a very good Friday night popcorn movie that will carry you along at a pace and with a smile. Would have given it 5 stars but for the slight 'no way' element of some car stunts - but that's me being a little harsh.

Words cannot adequately describe just how bad this film is. The story is non-existent, the script was written by a 5 year-old, the acting is terrible and the action scenes are just plain funny.

It is baffling to me how Statham still manages to get these parts. In my opinion he must either be related to a Hollywood big-wig or be holding them to ransom. His New York(?) accent must sound to Americans how Dick Van-Dyke's Mary Poppins cockney sounded to to Londoners. His facial expressions, body language and delivery of lines are, at best, school play standard. He makes Keanu Reeves look like Sir Lawrence Olivier. However, his performance was by far the best in this film.

The action scenes, INCLUDING the car chases are so unplausable that they are unintentionally hilarious. Obviously some attempt was made here to imitate the Bond films, but it has failed at every level. Also, the unashamed Audi advert is nauseating, right down to the close up of the 'W12' badge on the front grille.

If I had been able to give this film 0 stars I would. For me it ranks alongside 'XXX: the next level' as the joint worst film in history. Please avoid at all costs, unless you liked 'XXX: the next level,' in which case we are not on the same wavelength!

Light, mindless entertainment. Great if you like nice cars and nice weather (filmed in Miami). Not great if you mind utterly impossible-to-believe stunts, plus a star of the film who manages to conquer automatic weapon wielding baddies with his bare hands. This film requires you to suspend your imagination a little too much to make it a great film, but its slick and you can laugh at it while ninety minutes passes.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. JS is pretty good & this a role he could come back to a few more times. Easy to enjoy.!!!!!

Not bad for an action no thinking movie. I watched the whole thing due to the stunts.

Having watched the first Transporter film, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I looked forward to seeing the sequel. But what a disappointment. It has fallen victim to the typical American approach of doing lots of far fetched stunts with CGI, rather than using storyline and actors. Some of the scenes are so far fetched CGId that I struggled not to switch it off - it actually made me say out loud 'Oh what!' on a couple of scenes it was that far fetched!. It should have been better. Had all the ingredients to be a gourmet meal, instead it ended up as a fast food burger!

Just watched the film and found it very average. In real life Jason Statham was killed instantly or certainly while hiding behind some of the flimsy cover on set. The stunts were unbelievably corny and completely impossible to achieve. All throughout the film it was not realistic and certainly not anywhere near as good an action movie as one from the Bourne Series. I wouldn't really recommend the film or watch it again. It's watchable but short on enjoyment.

whilst the story is pretty transparent, i wont spoil if for you :) the action is ramped up again, think 'bourne' on a budget, interested to see transporter 3

Although this storyline has been done before (bodyguard) liked the action, car chases (although sometimes graphics made them impossible like knocking off the bomb on a hook at the end of a crane, made me laugh though) I enjoyed the story and the humour. Of course being female I liked the aloofness and straight face action of the hero. Better than transporter the first so worth seeing. Enjoyable if you are in the mood for lots of action and don't want to test the brain cells.

Quite awful and very disappointing after the first Transporter. Needless to say I won't be watching number 3 .

If you want to sit down in your front room and forget all about Oscar winning performances and twisting plots, then this is the movie for you. Not since the days of Kick-boxer and Awol has a film needed as little concentration as this one. One for the Blokes, with no romance, lots of stupid stunts, smart driving and clever prop usage fight scenes.

Great film to watch - so much action in this film

I do like Jason Flemings movies but I feel this one was even more far-fetched than normal. But having said that it was well worth watching. The stunts were brilliant but not as good as a bond movie !

We really enjoyed this follow up - the story was fab and it was full of action. All in all a great film to watch.

Should have taken more notice of the other bad reviews, but had really enjoyed the 1st film and like Jason Statham so gave this one a go. It is terrible, on a par with Die Hard 4 for unbelievable stunts and poor acting. I still like Jason Statham as an actor but this must have been to pay the bills, and I won't be renting Transporter 3 when it comes out either!!

I absolutely love the transprter films! Anything with Jason Statham is a winner! The story is good, action is good if almost a little slapstick at times. Thouroughly enjoyable! Guns, fighting, cars.. semi naked woman for the men. all you could ask for in a film!

my kind of film,good action &good fight scenes

A poor film of very limited storyline, it consists of nearly all stunts that are impossible to believe....For Inst: A bomb on the bottom of his car, so he manages to turn the car over sideways in mid-air to dislodge the bomb on the hook of a large crane...SILLY! That was just one silly stunt, BUT he also escapes a hail of bullets from machine pistols on more than one occasion from only feet away. Then to survive a jet plane crashing into the sea whilst he is in combat in the cabin..SILLY. etc etc etc....

The first one was the best as with most movies but I did love this film! Full of action as with the first... I have Transporter 3 on its way to me today so im hoping i wont be dissapointed!!

good stunts/action but poor story

if you're going to have a stunt every 10 seconds, at least make one or two of them remotely believable. seen more realism at the all in wrestling,

It is unusual for a sequel to be better than the first film but this film is way better than the first one if action is what you like. It is very James Bond in places and the Martial Arts are really quite good. Throw in a little humour and there you have it, Transporter 2. The girl villain is very good and could have been used a bit more as the main male villain lead was a bit weak. Jason Statham is proving himself a good lead for these type of action films and I am sure we will see more of him in similar films in the future.

Action packed sequel that left me hankering for the arrival of part three. Jason Statham is hard but oh so cute at the same time. Loved this movie! Really interesting characters with a edge.

What a load of rubbish! How on earth a plane can crash into the ocean and the occupants still continue to fight - HA!

the movie was good to watch, its has some actions

In my opinion, there is no other actor other than Frank Martin, who could have played the part better. Amazing acting, along with superb action. The storyline was amazing and not one part of the movie let me down once. Well worth 5 stars.

I love ludicrous action movies as much as anyone and the first Transporter got the balance of improbable plot and outrageous stunts pretty much spot-on. Here the balance is skewed too far towards the no-brainer end of things with almost all departments lacking, from the haphazard direction and dopey plot right down to the bland soundtrack. Miami makes for a great location though and Statham is as reliable as ever. I won't be renting Transporter 3 though.

Yeah i enjoyed the first transporter and the second one was just as enjoyable. The girlfriend liked it too!! bonus! wouldnt say it was a totally amazing watch, but its an easy enough film to follow and can be enjoyed by anyone i think.

Love action films and Jason Statham never lets me down. Great fight scenes and even a good story line...shame we don't see Jason without his shirt this time...oh well, can't have everything ! Worth a watch if you love this type of film... great stuff

Frank Martin now does the school run for government family, baddies kidnap child, Frank goes after them, gets child back, injected with 'special' poison, can Frank save the day? More brainless nonsense with even more far-fetched japery & clichéd silliness. It's quite slick though & moves a long at a fast pace with the action sequences feeling like something out of a computer game. Also features some of the worst Police driving since the Dukes of Hazzard.

Jason Stratham is cool, calm and deadly. A simple storyline with loads of action. Definitely worth a look if you're an action-man. P.S. Don't go by what others say.

sequals generally arent as good as there originals and this is no exception. laughable plot but i found myself enjoying it forget your brain at the door it aint gonna win an oscar in fact it is at the other end of the spectrum. but sometimes i need this kinda film when you have had a long day and your brain is tired then there is nothing better than something like this.

Ithought this was a good action film at least it wasn't as stupid as some martial art films where they climb walls and float thro' the air. It was certainly more realistic! A good film needs to be a release from everyday life, you want to be taken into a world of unreality. So you can dream of being the hero and rescuing some poor victim. It may not win an oscar, but I shall certainly watch it again several times.

Treat this as a comedy and it is brilliant - try and analyse in terms of great movie making and I think you have rather missed the point. An hilarious film for a weekend wind down.

Oh, what went wrong. I had such high hopes for this. I read reviews and they said this was bad, but its bad. Its sad that its bad. Feel cheated. The potential was greater than the current Bond bunch. It should be the down and dirty bond, but instead its just plain stupid. Don't someone somewhere read these scripts? The could have been a fun and exciting series that just ran and ran, but, oh, pass me the wine and let me get drunk.

Best way to spend 2 hrs, explosions, kick arse moves, guns and cars. Film to enjoy

The first Transporter was good, this however cranks up the excitement even further. There are so many brilliant scenes such as jumping out a third tier window to catch some syringes before they crack on the ground and driving a lamborghini underneath a jet taking off, to climb on via a landing wheel. I went to the cinema to see this and me and my mate were laughing none stop. Unquestionably one of the films of 2005.

this movie is about as realistic as a boat out of water, or a jetski in this case. Some of the stunts are decent buit most are just unrealistic and would have to be an extreem coincidence for them to happen.Not a good movie unless you just want to laugh at its unrealisticness.

How bad is this film. Has the potential to be an excellent action film but let down by ridicolous and totally unbeivable stunts and car chases topped off by really bad special effects

Dont bother. Absolutely stupid.

OK the plot is a bit basic and paper thin but the action is non-stop and as another review put it, some of the stunts are 'oh what?!?'. Take it as pure entertainment and it is a great laugh. The hose pipe fight scene is lol funny. Top stuff.

Wow this film must have bin made by eight year olds. The plot doesn’t work. The acting is poor and most of all the stunts are not realistic. How am I suppost to buy into a film when it has an armoured Audi A8 with a w12 engine, seemingly flying horizontally 100 feet between high-rises. Pathetic. Makes James bond look realistic (that’s saying something).

Working for Audi UK this was a brilliant example of our flagship model the A8 - The film was action packed although the story was a little predictable it was still a good solid watch

easy watching action film, no need to think....same plot as man on fire except this is a little less plausable...good action scenes better than a channel 5 film premiere

Jason Statham is so much better than Daniel Craig, and although the Transporter films aren't as big on special effects and stunts as James Bond, they still hold their own and Jason Statham is a much better actor than Daniel Craig. The opening scene in this film is great. Great guy and great car. As with the first, their is a kind of love interest, does it happen? - you'll have to watch the film. The plot is a little far fetched, but the fight scenes are great. There is scene in this with Frank fighting a tall leggy blonde, and its great. Can't wait for no. 3.

The story on this one is quite bad, the action scenes are good though.

I really enjoyed the first film but they should of never have done this sequel. The story line is awful and it is so ridiculously far fetched you find yourself shouting ‘oh come one’ at the telly!

What a absolutely rubbish sequel!!! James bond style 180 spinning car jump isn't enough!! they had to have him knock a bomb off the bottom of the car with a crane!! Had to turn it off at that point. Harry Potter is more believable than this rubbish.

Not quite as good as the first one, but still a great comic-book caper. Set your belief to one side and have a real good time. The two Transporter flicks are slick, speedy, and never in any doubt as to their own depth - yet intelligently made, with excellent direction and cracking all-round pace. The fight scenes are well choreographed, with a major nod to Bruce Lee; and in this one, a set piece gang fight with a hose is expertly done. Statham might not be going for high art, but at least he doesn't stoop to Segal / Van Damme cheese movies. If you like this, check out Taxi (the French original, not the US remake) which is just as frenetic, bonkers and throwaway. You could do a lot worse than kicking back with a Transporter...

Don't expect a slick plot, have a few beers before you watch it and you'll love it (like Yorkie's its not for girls!). If you liked the first film its the same stuff, watch out for the car that appears to be as indestructable as KITT.

Excellent, if you enjoyed the first one, you will enjoyed this one even more, fun pack action from start to finish

Shouldn't we really wait until we see it before we review it?

SAW A PERFECT COPY ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO ACTUALLY MATE IF YOU WANT TO GET PICKY

Have been waiting to see this for ages and as is often the case - my hopes for a sequel thats was as pacey,styish and and humerous as the first were misplaced. Now i cannot argue that the action in this is not up to scratch, the fights are original and the chases are done with a certain polish that only a big budget can give. However the plot is ridiculous. The film starts off along similar lines to man on fire, with the child of the piece kidknapped and our hero off to get him back. However we soon learn that the kidnapping is just to put a toxin into the boy so he can pass on to his politician father? Why go through all the hassle of shooting doctors/nurses, highjacking a hospital floor, getting the police involved, when they could have just put the toxin into one of the workers at the hotel/building where the conference is taking place, and draw no attention, and still manage to kill all the important people they wanted? Makes no sense? Secondly why is Frank in Miami - no explantion? Who is his freind he is doing a favour for and where is he? No explantion again. Now this might seem picky, but in truth even a dumb action movie needs to have some plot detail and this does not. Saving grace of the film is Statham, who once again manages to be super cool, and handles both the action and script perfectly. The worse part of the film is the use of really bad CGI effects. Just like XXX2 the movie has a final piece of CGI that looks like it belongs on a 1980's arcade game. Also like Besson's other work as writer producer - Taxi - the car chase scenes are ruined by the Use of CGI (Is'nt that cheating - peaople want to see real cars get used?).Anyway as whole it was entertaining - but if they do a third one it needs to rise above this.

I can't believe I wasted two hours of my life watching this. The villans are just plain stupid, the chick walking round half naked is ridiculus, dont get me wrong shes a good looking woman but when a film has to have a villan walking around in her underwear because the rest of the scenes and acting is terrible then there is something seriously wrong. I cant believe they bothred to remove the strings digitally in the fight scenes as the way the fighters swing around the place is laughable. I almost walked out when he flips the car in mid air so a crane can knock the bomb of the bottom of his car, I could draw better special effects with a crayon. What a shame the first film was okay but avoid this one at all costs. If you like fighting scenes check out the amazing no strins attached 'Ong-Bak' or a jet li or jackie chan film
