Bad Boys 2  (2003)

I feel really let down, the original Badboy's was a really good film. Fair enough it was a no brainer, not exactly one you had to think about, but it was good, some nice action, funny one liners and a nice relationship between its main characters.
But the sequel, come on, absolute pants.
Most of the gags weren't funny, they tried to incorporate lines from the other film in such an awkward way it made me shout with disgust. Some of the action was good, but in no way original. And the final nail in its coffin, 'IT WAS OVER 2 HOURS LONG' Why would someone subject us to that. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't

Well, I guess everybody's different. Personally, I can't think of a worse film ever. Just plain AWFUL!

Oh dear - what a poor film.
I liked Bad Boys 1 - it had a fairly decent fast moving plot, good action, witty lines, some intelligent dialogue (but to be fair we don't ask for much of that) but Bad Boys II had none of this.

It was utterly predictable from start to finish. Never a mind a 'no brainer' action movie this is a 'no hoper'.

You don't ordinarily demand really fantastic plot nor dialogue from an action movie but when even the action itself is predictable it just gets kinda tiresome.

(I'd give a warning that there is a spoiler coming up here - but really my point is that anyone watching this movie will KNOW exactly what's gonna happen well in advance anyway - so carry on reading you have nothing to lose).

Take the, admittedly action packed, car chase for example. This is possibly the only scene worth watching in the entire movie. Yet...
You're watching the scene and you think 'oh look a fast uncontrollable car chase'...'oh look a car transport truck with lots of cars loaded on top of it'...'oh surprise the cars are sliding off it'...'oh look a medical truck carrying corpses with an open back door!'...'oh look there are corpses flying out of the back'...'oh look a truck with a boat on it'...'I wonder what's gonna happen next?!?' - NOT! Ad infinitum

I am afraid I can't comment on the last 20 minutes of the movie. I fell asleep. It was far too long for such a movie anyway. When I finally woke up I asked my friend did X, Y and Z happen and he said 'yep - I wish I'd fallen asleep too!'

So, it's OK, but there are better ways to spend your time and better naff action movies to watch. If you're gonna watch it, have the fast forward button in your hand! :o)

Very average buddy-cop movie, with one decent car chase, mixed with American anti-Cuban propaganda.

What an action packed, bullet filled movie this was, non stop action, gags and corpses throughout the film.

This film goes through more cars than Maureen from driving school and kills just as many pedestrians.

Get this film on your list for Saturday, get some beers and a curry in and thats my prescription for a great night in.

Having loved the first film - to the point of buying my own copy I had high expectations for this film.

As the first one, it starts quite slowly and is a tad silly. Not a problem if that's just for the first few minutes. The problem comes in when the film is still quite stupid and slow half-way through!

The acting on this was below par for some reason. The storyline made little sense, the car chase was so unbelievable - and the rat scene; come on.

The only real action was towards the end and even then a farce.

My only hope now is they don't make a third film; not unless the original writer and director can be used.

I really enjoyed Bad Boys, it was a good fun movie with lots of action scenes to keep you entertained. I was expecting much the same from BB2, but, as soon as I put it on, it was not a patch on the first film. The action was boring, the story was boring and it wasn't even particularly amusing. A real dissapointment - so much so I switched it off about an hour into the film, something I don't do very often, but couldn't care less how the film ended.

The first is an absolute classic and as such you might be renting this just to see what it's like. Fair enough. If not, give it a miss- complete chaos- no idea of what's going on, the film just tries to limp from setpiece to setpiece with nothing in between. Shame...

Awful truly awful. Like a terrible MTV video for some awful mass-produced rap band. Violence was predictable and shocking only for its mindlessness, every black-guy / Cuban / Haitian cliche was dragged out from the 1970s and given a thorough going over.

Why Will Smith with his Oscar contention for films like Ali felt that he had to go and get involved in this juvenile mess I will never know.

Good fun film that does very little to stand out from the crowd. The plot's full of holes, just like the first one, but this one's even more unbelievable. A lot of jokes are very similar to the first film, and there's the general feel of Bad Boys I on a bigger budget.

The car chase sequences were good, particularly the first one with the Maranello.

Overall - a no-brainer film that does nothing original and apart from a few of the action sequences, is fairly forgetable. But, what the hell, I enjoyed it anyway.

As long as you don't mind your action movies completely over the top, this film will keep you well entertained. The feel and chemistry of the original is still there, augmented by a visibly larger budget which leads to many spectacular set pieces and special effects. The film is longer than usual, however the variety of locations and pace of action just about justify this. Yes its cheesey, and yes its predictable, but so were Beverley Hills Cop and Lethal Weapon. This is an old formula, very well updated.

The movie itself is a souped-up version of BBI (as it unfortunately tends to happen in Americana movies...). More of the same, and louder, with mucho bang, a bit of bullet-time, bombing of beatiful scenarios and a constant challenge to the suspension of disbelief.
Perhaps a bit longer than it should be, I thought that Will Smith was way tooooo cocky, that Jordi Molla was ab-so-lu-te-ly awful as drug baron, with millions of ticks and twists, that Joe Pantoliano should be ashamed of showing his face the way he does in here, and finally, I can't believe they managed to put together an incursion into Cuban (yes, Cuban...) territory, managed to show favelas and trash them up with a Humvee 4x4, and end up in Guantanamo...
A couple of nice visuals, though (the rotating scene when pulping the Jamaicans...).

A sequal as good as the first, surely not! I thought it was, maybe even better. The chemistry between the two leads is excellent and the film managed to switch between laugh out loud funy and serious action scenes with ease. A great night of action for those who like that sort of thing. It's not Oscar territory but doesn't pretend to want one.

The usual odd-couple, cop-buddy genre with some of the most awesome renditions of special FX I have seen in a single film. The action is fast paced, the situations are utterly ridiculous. The characters utter unbelievable. This is a film that doesn't require any brain power, but the production values are high, and it is really entertaining. Pure Hollywood magic. Recommended if you want eye candy, and want your brain to work on autopilot.

This film is what makes average films great. It does not pretend to be anything other than it is; a no brain actionathon.

The chase scenes are excellent and the feel reminds me of 80s action titles such as the Berverly Hill's Cop series.

It is very violent for a 15 and some scenes can be too gory for kids but for thrills and action this film must rank as one of the best in recent years.

Well I class myself as a connisoir(spelt wrong) of movies and didnt even bother with this one when it hit the cinema as i heard bad things.

But thought what the hell I'll give it a go on DvD and wasnt expecting much.

Boy was I wrong!!

The car scenes where top notch. The action was good and the humour was quite funny in parts. The chemistry between the 2 actors was v.good.

The only downside was the movie was 20 mins possibly too long but overall well worth the rental!!

Ok, its not the best film I've ever watched, but its entertainting. You don't seem to be wanting the film to finish, but you then relise just how long the film has run for. I know that sounds like I'm contradicting myself, and maybe I am, its good but not that good.

I think you have two very clever actors, with some good bad and indifferent dialogue. I'd recommend it to anyone, but for one of those nights when there nothing on the box, and the other halfs got a headache.

Funny in parts, but generally offers no more than the first movie in this series

Flashy stunts, ok story line. Something you can watch on a Sunday, if nothing else is on. I cant remember if I watched the first film, but I wouldn't now after watching this.

Really enjoyed this film, it was alot better than I expected it to be. Will Smith was brill as usual and some of the scenes were incredible!!

Fast cars pretty people and VERY LOUD MUSIC make this an enjoyable if (more than) slighty ludricous story. It's great fun, providing you turn off your brain and don't take it too too seriously. It's the usual mix of great one liners, lots of shooting and smashing things up, some good special effects as you follow the bullets flying around. Recommeneded for a cold wet winter's night in front of the fire. KH

drivel - i liked the first one but this is pants!

A high action, fast moving, cop film which sadly doesn't live up to the standards of the first film.

Will Smith provides an entertaining performance which makes the film watchable and keeps the viewer interested throughout.

The plot is predictable and goes rather silly at the end, with a typical "Americanised" full out assault on Cuba by a group of Cops who suddenly are the elite of the elite.

Definitely a watchable film but I hope any future versions have more thought to the storey line.

I really wanted to enjoy this film - with loads of explosions / fast cars and pretty girls - not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrance - however you're left with a film full of expletives, carnage for carnage sake - some sickening humour - being out of your head on ecstacy is just NOT FUNNY! - and a film that is 40 minutes tooo long - i just hope if they make BB 3 - they at least spend some time on a decent storyline.

Bad Boys is a typical buddy movie, it is not going to leave you pondering for hours about hte meaning of the film. It will however give you a good laugh and is a well paced action movie. It delivers with a good car chase although not as tense as the one from Bad Boys1. This fim is just what you need on a Friday night after a long hard week at work or on a Sunday afternoon. An action flick where you can just switch off your brain sit back and just be entertained.

Even better than the first! Great car chases, lots of action and as expected, truckloads of laughs all the way through!

Nucleur-fuelled action comedy that wrecks half of Florida in its quest for one more gag, one more car chase. Perfect post-pub fodder.

Action packed film however with very little plot 2hours 13 mins is too long for this film. Lots of great stunts and camera work make up for it. Not bad at all.

Action- Yes Humour - Yes Storyline - No, got the gist. If you just want to settle down with a snack and shut off your brain then this film will keep you amused. Weak storyline - over-acting and not a very good villan. Not as good as the first movie but some good individual action scenes which will keep you at the edge of your seat. Not the best movie i have seen but worth watching if youve nothing else to do.

An Action Flick right from the top drawer which compares vary favourably with the original although I would definately say that the action scenes and the amazing car chase sequence stand out as the most memorable scenes in the film.One thing I found differing from the the original was the lack of Chemistry between the two leading roles as the the bickering between the two was not as sharp or as funny as previous and by the end of the film it becomes a little tedious if anything.Bickering aside Lawrence and Smith deliver everything else you would expect with superb effect with the latter displaying effortless cool!
This is one Rental that I will be adding to my permanent collection for beer filled nights in with boys!

I have given this film 2 stars due to the fact as a follow on it is fine, OK it is fair to say that this is slightly better than the 1st outing of bad boys but that is only due to nearly everything in this films seems to ?explode?.
The film isn't very original as you will notice as even some gags in the film are used twice very poor like the dog in the pool 'What is all that about' was it just enough to make the film even longer?.
It contains various car chases and gun fights but these are just used to fill the whole 2 hours and 21minutes due to plot lacking so badly that from the start you know how it is going to end!
I would say that this is worth a watch only if you?re a big fan of bad boys (Martin Lawrence & Will Smith). As a fan of Jerry Bruckheimer I was disappointed with this and would rather watch ?the rock?.

absolutely worth waiting for. Smith and Lawrence return as bad boy police officers in the second installment of the bad boys line. This time however due to high complaints of police brutality the whole division has been forced to see psychiatrist, to work out there anger, 3 guesses how smith does that. The action in this film is unbelievable, it completely blows the first bad boys out of the water with the high octaine car chases and gun fights. The underlying love story also adds a third dimension to the film so that it is no just an action movie. If u like action, the first film, or just a good film this is a must see

Well then.... 10 Years or so after the original, BB2 comes crashing onto DVD like the ghost of christmas past. Nothing new just the same old BS that dogged the first instalment. If you have a brain that likes to drift into auto-pilot, then this MIGHT just be dumb enough to help you veg out for an hour or 2. This movie is well worth renting. The special effects and car chases are worth it alone, before you even get to the story, which is very compelling and dosen't lose it along the way, like some movies like this can do. Plenty of guns and plenty of good cars make this a good friday night beer movie. Will Smith and martin lawerence are on form in this and it is a very good sequel. In fact so much so, you wouldn't even know they had done a previous movie together.

Very good buddy movie where the two main characters (Smith and Lawerence) play well off of each other for laughs-a-plenty. Loads of almost non-stop action, with a fantastic car chase scene. However I felt let down by the soft ending which played out a highly unlikely scenario. The ending smacked of the typical American bravado attitude of 'we can go anywhere and do what we want', which spoiled an otherwise highly entertaining movie.

Im with Jules on this one. The overblown violence and car chases are only there to distract you from the terrible plot, with smith and lawrence being able to do what they like in the name of 'justice'. The film is just about loud noises and fast pretty colours, another hollywood blunder where they want to cash in on the success of the original and dont care what rubbish they put on screen as long as it says bad boys 2, because the only reason you want to watch this film is because the first was so good. So be warned, watch bad boys, or rent this and have a 2 hr lesson in swear words and violence.

If you liked Bad Boys you'll love Bad Boys II. Typical of its genre it's genuinly funny and an adrenaline pumped ride. Huge explosions, car chases and stunts. If there's a failing it's that some of the stunts go on a little too long - I've no problem suspending disbelief but hanging it by the neck until dead is another matter. However, overall this doesn't detract from the film too much and if what you're after is a good old cop buddy movie with all the usual ingrediants you will not be disappointed.

Classic Will Smith comedy action. If you're a fan then you will love this film but I felt seen one Bad Boys then you will probably have seen them all. However these films have a unique combination of hollywood action and Bel Air comedy which is refreshing. Smith and Lawrence are really just Will and Carlton in Miami with bigger muscles, faster cars and a sexy girl to answer to rather than big Phil. Watch it if you're bored of the first one.

Really enjoyed Bad Boys 1 but the sequel lost some of the edge. OK film but was slow in places. Will Smith funny in places as is usual.

If you enjoy lots of car chases,shootings and explosions then you'll love this one. The plot follows the Martin Lawrence and Will Smith who continue their roles from Bad Boys, theres plenty of humour along the way and as it comes from the Bruckheimer stable you can be sure there is plenty of visual spectaculars. If you are a bit sensitive about swearing then this is not for you, I lost count of the number of F-words used throughout this film, if it doesn't bother you then rent it..

"Reasonable" is a good word for this film. It's not GREAT, for a start. The action is poor and the comedy is sparse. I guess you have to care about the characters to enjoy it, which is something I couldn't bring myself to do. It was hilarious in parts, but not often enough to justify its length.

If you like Will Smith and Martin Laurence (and of-course consider America to be the greatest country on earth) you might find a way to love this film. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Boom. Bang anyone?

This has more action than a bunch of ferrets in a rabbit hole. Unfortunately this makes you want to make a cup of coffee and ignore the film. The lines are a little "daft" and the acting is seriously not upto the standard of Bad Boys I. Consider this downgrading to Martin Lawrence's standards instead of upgrading to Will Smith's standards. I'm not saying Martin Lawrence is bad, but this is more of a "blue streak" than an "independance day" - sorry guys.

This movie has a car chase which is, frankly, ridiculous in its complexity and excessivness. You almost expect Keanu Reeves to pop out and start kung-fu fighting with machine dudes.

By the end of the movie, it's not a complete waste of time. There are some redeeming features, but honestly, I recommend you watch something else.

Fast, action-packed, thrilling entertainment. If you loved Bad Boys, you'll love Bad Boys II. Full of the usual fast action, fast talking, witty one-liners, this is a sequal that just pips its brilliant original. The chemistry between Smith and Lawrence is tangable and the action is from start to finish, including a breathtaking car-chase scene. This film doesn't try to be cleverer than the original and that suits me fine The brand of humour and action that Smith and Lawrence produce makes for a thoroughly, entertaining, non-stop, thrilling movie. My only complaint about this sequel is, why on earth did we have to wait nearly 8 years for it?

despite being the most homoerotic movie in existence, it still managed to live up to the hype and was a good sequal to a fantastic film. The thing that seperates this sequal to other sequals, say matrix reloaded, is that all it aims to do is just be an action film, it doesn't pretend to be something else so you don't watch this thinking its going to be something its really not. Its just an excuse to blow stuff up, and watch the hilarious consequences!

The original Bad Boys was, in its own way, a classic! It wasn't exactly Citizen Kane or The Usual Suspects, but it was great fun and one of the best of its genre.

I was a bit dubious about the sequel though - after all, it's not often that a sequel takes over a decade to follow-up the original. I'm afraid that I was right!! While this isn't the worst movie that I've ever seen it certainly doesn't match the original. Rent the movie by all means, but I'd lower my expectations before inserting it into the dvd if I were you!

Very silly but much better than the first one. Much too violent for my liking (why don't the Yanks start censoring violence in stead of sex for Christ's sake). The car chases are the main draw for this movie. There are three and the middle one is bone shakingly exciting. If you are a careful driver you may find yourself pushing their foot down looking for a break peddle. Some OK gags and a good rapport betweel the leads makes this a good movie but not for little ones unless you want them murdering their fellow pupils in copycat killings.

Just screams stupid from the moment the film starts. Bad script, cliched story, over the top action scenes and some really unfunny comedy. But what else would expect from Jerry Bruckheimer? It's no oscar winning material but there's enough action here to keep anyone looking for a mindless popcorn muncher happy, sure some of it's pretty damn awful but the end scene in Cuba makes up for some of the rubbishness early on. Just don't go expecting Shakespear or anything to test your mind, oh and you might want to take a few travel sickness pills to help you cope with the erratic camera work, think the director had a very short attention span.

If you are a fan of Wil Smith, fast cars, crashes, over the top gun play... this is for you.

In an uncomplicated way this was very good entertainment, and the scene where one of them accidentally swallows somethingis hilarious (I wont spoil it but it is 2/3 through). Great mindless fun.

Well, apart from the fact that the movie misses chunks of information out, leading to various holes and alot of how-did-they-get-from-here-to-there, this is a very slick film, so you can be forgiven for glossing over alot of problems. Some very good shots, and a couple of great chases, with alot of carnage and destruction, this is purely a visual and not a mental pleasure. Great fun to watch after a busy day with a few beers, but a complete no brainer, so here's hoping that there will not be another sequel But, there is a time and place for such films, and I was most definetly there when i watched it..

the usual wishy pishy hollywood cop caper. like beverley hills cop but with two of them. If you cant follow sorylines then this is for you. (i'd still do smith though).

This is an 'explosive' film; literally. Unfortunately this is not in a postive sense. Every two minutes things will be blowing up and the guns will be out. The acting in some instances is very poor; overall there are no outstanding performances. The story line consists of the, well, nothing much really. In fact I dont remember the story line; just lots of ill thought out action. The film is overall only one to watch if you are in the mood for a straight forward borderline average action movie.

No decent script? Hey, lets just find as many cars as we can and blow them up. Whilst Michael Bay can direct great action adventures like 'The Rock' with this turgid offering all we really have is a loud showreel of cars exploding and people being shot. In slow motion. Martin Lawrence has entered his 'fat unfunny' period. Will Smith must have been paid a lot of money to appear in this, I hope he thinks it was worth it because I felt very short changed. (PS I liked the first one!)

Not sure if its legitimate to write a review of a film that you switched off after half an hour but I’ve always been a loose cannon (a bit like Mitch Buchannan in Baywatch).

I thought the original was alright in its clichéd way but the sequel is abysmal. It makes the Lethal Weapon series look like Shakespeare.

The lazy, buddy-buddy script just isn’t funny and the characters are little more than cartoons. Avoid it unless you happen to be A. a masochist or B. recovering from a lobotomy. Awful.

As a big fan of the first Bad Boys film I had very high hopes for this film when I heard that they were doing a sequel. I was wrong!!! This film focuses too much on the comedy and not enough on the action which is a strong part of what I loved about the first film. The leads are not convincing, the script is awful and the villains don't really seem like they're trying very hard. A very generous 2 stars!

The title just about sums it up. Amazing film. Hilarious. Great action. Mark Lawrence and Will smith create the ledgendary duo. The question is 'what u gonna do when they come for you' Bad Boys for life.

Give it a wide berth. There are two chase/action scenes possibly worth watching but the rest is unimaginative and just the same as the first.

There isn't a lot to Bad Boys 2. There's no plot, there's not a lot of characters and there may be a decent performance in there somewhere, but its buired beneath some of the worst camerawork I've ever seen. Apart from the car chase that involves the transporter, theres nothing to it the original didnt do better. But then again, its a Bruckenheimer film, and Jerry dont make movies, he just makes noise.

OK this is no classic raved about by critics, but its not supposed to be. Its a great action film with lots of fast cars, guns and a sexy woman, oh yeah and loads of faily predictable gags... lets face it if you wanted to watch a film you had to think about you wouldnt have watched this to start with!

Non stop laughin from beginin to end, some brilliant effects and scenes some were so unreal from bein over the top, but just made film funnier. The best part was car chase on bridge, bit corny but so funny!!!!!

a great action packed movie, the car chases are the best I've seen in a long while and you didn't dare turn your head away in case you missed something......Excellant, much better than the first Bad Boys.

I made the mistake of watching this movie in 2 sittings, the first hour is great with a fantastic car chase scene. The second hour is good but too damn long for an action film. Martin Lawrence is not as annoying as he normally is and the villians are cliched as ever. But can anyone tell me why they left the scene in where they bug the house, surely that could have been cut?

Get some beers, a takeaway and relax.

Typical movie. Drugs, guns, fast cars and someone falling in love with someone he shouldn't.

Poor plot and some second rate acting. However, the special effects, sound track and anamorphic picture quality first rate.

Compared to the original 'Bad Boys' and despite having the same director (Michael Bay), this has to be one of the most disappointing sequels to memory.

Lacks the calibre of the comedy schtik that made the original stand out from any other mainstream action film, with a depressingly cheesed up finale.

I liked Bad Boys, and I like a bit of violence. This film was OTT. Too much swearing and too much violence.I am not a Sunday school teacher by any streach of the imagination. Just did not do it for me.

Never has so much money been wasted on such a load of dross. The money is all up there on the screen but it doesn't help make anything of this mess of a film.

Top Film, not much about this you can't like! It's kind of like three movies in one, you think youv'e reached the end but no....theres still more.

It's funny & full of action. The length lends it to be an afternoon film rather than an evening one or you might not ever get to bed!

A decent action flick from Jerry Bruckheimer. Has all the spectacular stunts you would expect and the plot isn't too taxing as you would expect!

No one expects much when they watch a film of this Caliber. Will Smith and his quick one liners, The chemistry between the two actors and plenty of action. This is basically what you get. A right no-brainer which in small doses is fun. No way near as good as the original but worth a couple of hours of anyones time.

Some great one liners and some rather interesting chases ( with dead bodies!! ).

Switch off for two hours and enjoy the film.

Such a shame after seeing the 1st one which may i add was actually very good,i just couldn't get into this film was so slow from the beginning ended up turning it off after half an hour wouldn't bother.

You've got to hand it to Bay and Bruckheimer for taking a B-movie potboiler and pumping it so full of money and testosterone that it comes out like 'Bad Boys 2'.

It's as good as the first one, but blown out with masses of pure excess as the levels of violence and destruction reach surreal proportions.

Don't go expecting anything else and you won't be disappointed.

If you like action and comedy in the same film, this is the one. Loads better than the first one. Loved the car chase and the comedy between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence was first class. Well worth watching.

Nothing compared to Bad Boys 1. Smith & Lawrence were not funny!! the only good scene was the car chase on the freeway. Don't bother with this film it drags!! The villain was crap too.

It's an action packed film, but gets a bit long. It could have been much more but instead is an average action movie!

Excellent follow up to the original. Great humour, if a little too many muvva f+r references! Will Smith is super tasty as usual but the leading lady was a little wooden for my liking. Cant remember where I have seen her from before though. Something like Moesha I think. If you liked the first, you will definately like the second.

More action than you can shake a stick at. Excellent soundtrack. Not quite as cool and rhythmic as the first film but plenty of eye candy and cool vehicles. Worth a watch

Bad Boys 2, superb better than the first even, which says a lot about a film.

A must for every thrill seeking, shoot them up junky.

A must rent of you like action, cars & guns. However the car chase's are typically american i.e. a Ferrari456 struggling to beat a huge truck loaded with cars

i loved this move very laid back and extremley funny. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith bounce off each other which i think makes the movie wicked! Great car chases and gun scenes its a must to see.

If you want a sensitive, intense drama with lots of depth ...... do not look here! BUT, if you are after just over two hours of action, thrills and ludicrous plots this is the flick for you. If you liked the original Bad Boys you will love this as it is along the same lines but with lots more firepower. A better than average no brainer.

This is a crack a can of beer open, sit back and just enjoy the none stop action. Lawrence and Smith are hilarious in Lethal Weapon style humour. Non stop shoot em ups and car chases, just brill, can't wait for Bad Boys 3.

Interesting movie with Lawrence and Smith teaming up well for this long awaited sequel. Directed once again by Michael Bay (he also had a cameo in the film as the driver of the car Lawrence tried to confiscate before Smith told him to go for another one! Bay has a habit of cameo appearances in his films (Armageddon and Pearl Harbor). The film is good escapism but I have seen better buddy movies and as far as I am concerned it didn't live up to the hype. Plenty of action sequences, buildings being blown up and car chases from the start it is worth watching.

If you are a fan of the bruckheimer films you should love this, the story is unplausible but thats not what he is about. Expect a lot of explosions gun fights and over the top lines from smith and lawrence. If thats what your looking for you will be entertained. Camera work was the only let down, too much bullet point rotations, but hell who cares hot women fast cars big guns and cheesy lines. As smith would say plenty of big willey style

Good sequel to Bad Boys. Martin Lawerence and Wil Smith were great together. Plenty of exciting action.

This is a wonderful movie, and one the gals will love. Watch it with the girlfriend, and she'll love it, fancy Will Smith and hopefully be turned on by the end of it :)

Bad Boys 2 was even better than the first! Its a great easy to watch film with loads of energy from the start.Well worth watching.The only reason that I gave it a four and not a five was the fact that it went in for longer than I had expected.

Pretty looking, pretty empty guns and wise cracks movie that barely bothers with a plot and seems to go on for about 40 mins too long. Smith isn't really believable as any kind of 'badboy'. Approach with caution.

The start of the film had toomany explosions and crashing car scenes for me but it did settle down and became a resonable film nothing very gripping going on and for some reason alot of pointless male whinging from Lawrence which did get on my nerves a bit.

Good stuff plot is 10 on the implausibility factor but a few laughs from Martin Lawrence and plenty of mindless action. Probably 20mins too long which is an indulgence, your mind might wander in the middle.

I had been waiting for this film for a while and I wasnt disappointed. There were some really funny bits and I was entertained throughout. The only bad things was I thought it was a little too long but I would definately watch it again. A great sequel to the first film.

didnt know what to realy expect as I am not a big fan of Will Smth but thouroughly enjoyed it, some very fummy moments. No need to think about the plot, sit back watch and enjoy.

Lots of action, some funny lines and a fairly complex plot. You need (and will want) to stay glued to this from beginning to end. And then you could probably watch it again!

haven't seen bad boys 1 yet, so was a little unsure what to expect from bad boys 2. I didn't have to worry, you don't need to see the first one to follow the story line. Completely independent from the first movie & was aVery funny movie. Not too much action for a female to loose interest. I loved it!!!

A reasonable sequel. Keeps you interested, and there are some very amusing moments. However, although I generally try not to over analyse films (and just enjoy them for their escapism and face value!) I did find myself questioning some of the tactics and action scenes. Enjoyable, however, and worth watching.

This another formulaic buddy-cop movie. A shoddy plot, surrounding ecstasy dealing in LA, is held together by the smith/Lawrence one-liners - but even they start to wear thin towards the end of the movie.

This is not a film for the UK, the languige was horrific, Is this what the american viewers want to see? I watched just over an hour before switching off, I couldn't tell the goodies from the badies. I still don't know what the story was about, The gunfire was continuous and innocent car drivers were losing their cars and their lives. All together a No No!!!

i really liked it, bit disapointed that a few times i thought they used clips from the first one and maybe used a different camara view or used same lines in a different scene, but was very good and maybe better than the first, since they both very good it was hard to tell.

The Bad Boys are back, and this time its louder & brasher than before. More of an action film than the original, but it still works mainly due to the chemistry between Martin Lawrence & Will Smith.

The movie takes a long time to get to the point and to the end. It would have benefited from more judicious editing.

This is a really good movie with good actors and a excellent story line which lives up to its name.However,the movie was really slow therefore lasted really long so i did fast forward certain parts.Despite this it is a good movie to watch and recommended

Really, really dumb most of the time, the only things to recommend it for are some of the action set pieces (specifically the first car chase) and Will Smith, showing with comsumate ease that he's better than film around him. I was a big fan of the first one, but this seemed to stretch the point too far with characters with nowhere left to go.

Well what can i say?? Apart from the fact that i thought bad boys 2 was fantastic!! i must admit that i could'nt remember bad boys 1 very much,but Smith and Lawrence really charmed the pants of me in the second installment.They have such great onscreen chemistry together!

Being the only person out there who missed the first one, I can't compare the two. However it was a pretty good action film, Will Smith was on form and played off the down-trodden Martin Lawrence quite well. If you like wall to wall explosions, you'll love this, plus as a bonus it was well shot with some nice effects.

About what I expected. I checked it out for the cinematography and sound and on that level, it's mind blowing. The actual story, writing, and all that go out the window once the bullets start flying but it was pretty enjoyable. Missed a bit of the chemistry of the first one.

This movie might have had some better moments if I had watched it long enough. There was bad language in virtually every sentence. And yet this was rated at 15. Who is it that thinks people want to listen to swearing or that this will enhance the meaning of the film? Well, we don't want to listen to constant swearing and I have voted with my remote and switched it off.

I must admit this did not hold my attention like the first bad boys. Became very predictable. There were funny classic moments which defently wins my vote.

Fantastic action on the freeway - inspired stunts with cars chained to trucks - brilliant idea! Shame the rest of the film was built around that one scene. I can see why people like it - but its a shadow of Bad Boys 1.

I found this boring and predictable - not very clever at all. For the first time in a long time I switched it off half way in favour of daytime tv.

Will smith still trying to hang on!!! Its a good performance and a film will lots and lots of really cool special effects. The DTS soundtrack really rocks if you have surround sound.

As films go, this was certainly nothing special- the first Bad Boys film was much better.The scenes with gun fire seemed never ending;and overall, I was glad when it finally finished.

Switched off half-way through because of something happening at home. I usually like to watch whole movies, but in this case, I wasn't hooked, and therefore wasn't driven to complete my viewing later.

Good fun but much preferred the first one. On the evidence of this effort it will not have the staying power that the lethal weapon series did which is a disappointment because the two leads are cetainly much funnier

I enjoyed this sequal just as much as the first. The characters gel well together and I hope there will be more made in this genre.

Much funnier than expected. I wondered how they were going to make it better than the first and still nothing like it. It was well done and had me laughing out loud. Not only that but it had parts for every male and female to enjoy!

I rented this movie expecting to see a great sequel to the excellent first Bad Boys. Unfortunately I was really disapointed as there didn't seem to be any real substence to the film. Not much of a story - just lots of shoot outs and car chases. It was a lame effort in my opinion.

The first was good but the 2nd was just so predictable, 20 mins in just knew what was on the cards. There is plenty of action and the effects are brilliant but that couldn't save the plot.

I couldn't wait for this film to finish. It was very predictable, the car chase sequence was extremely graphically enhanced as to be ludicrous. If you like lots of action and a loud film then this may be for you but I found it to be too far fetched with a weak plot.

As long as you don't mind your action movies completely over the top, this film will keep you well entertained. The feel and chemistry of the original is still there, augmented by a visibly larger budget which leads to many spectacular set pieces and special effects. The film is longer than usual, however the variety of locations and pace of action just about justify this. Yes its cheesey, and yes its predictable, but so were Beverley Hills Cop and Lethal Weapon. This is an old formula, very well updated.

Don't even be tempted to rent this pile of junk because you liked the first. Unless you are somehow sadistic and like you iq to be insulted by simply the worst script/plot imaginable. Or maybe you chant U-S-A, U-S-A over and over at sporting events - then you might like it. Makes you want to skin your shins with a fork and eat the scratchings for something else to do. If you got it as a present I suppose you could use the dvd as a drinks coaster. Doesn't really warrant a rental now does it? I am mortally wounded intellectually, by this sack of cheesy, hollywood, big-budget evil.

If you like guns and big car pile ups then this is the film for you. A good no-brainer with plenty of action, although the overall plot is a bit slow

Bad boys is a classic action movie and one of my all time favourites (the scene in the gas station shop is hilarious!), but having heard differing opinions of the sequel I gave it a miss at the Cinema. Curious to make my own mind up, I invited the lads round, cracked open the beers and rented Bad Boys II... Nice! They seem to have cranked up the volume a notch or two, Martin Lawrence is no longer funny, just annoying, and Will Smith seems to be seeing just how much he can get away with!! A definite banker for Smith, enjoyable, if not a must-see.

I was a little disappointed when i watched this - i'd been meaning to watch it since it was released and was excited when this dropped on my doorstep. However the start was a bit slow, and although it did pick up and get better, it still isn't a film i'd recommend you rush out and hire. The only plus was Will Smith, but even he got annoying after a bit.

Biggest prroblem for me was that the film seemed to drag on & on & on..... Will Smith plays a good part, his usual Mr Cool. Was disapointed in Martin Lawence though. In the first film he's as hard hitting as Smith but in this one he's a little soft and because of this he's lost alot of his humour. Doesn't suit him at all.

Bad Boys 2 is not to great its just a uptodate version of the first and doesent add anything new ,some new car chases and effects.

Enjoyed the stunts, the ending is a little 'naff', but generally a watchable movie. The scene where the very tall tenager comes to collect his date will always be a strong recollection of this movie.

BRILLENT, Comedy, Action and Story. Rent it, you wont regret it!!!

This movie was... CRAZY! tonnes of action- everything HAGD to blow-up. the set pieces get bigger and bigger... till u think that they cant outdo the last action sequence they go and blow-up something even bigger! For goodness, they even blow-up a whole town!!! Apart from that, this isnt as much fun as the first film- there is less humour, but much more eye-seering visuals and great locations. You can literally soak up the heat. Well, as long as you take the film as it is - a buig no-brainer action-fest then it's a blast, but dont expect anything more.

The orginal was brilliant and this isn't a let down. The plot is a little outlandish, especially the ending but that doesn't make it a bad film. Lawerence and smith doing what they do best, Comedy and Michael Bay doing what he does best, directing action films. The car chase is excellent and they are some truely hilarious moments between Smith and Lawerence.

Fast moving and action packed with cars, guns, flames, blood and (often barely clothed) body parts flying everywhere pretty much constantly. If you leave your brain switched off and just watch the action roll past you can hardly fail to be entertained by this film, although you'll have to be pretty switched off not to find the denoument a little preposterous. A great Friday night film

This teaming of two comic buddies shows through in a no nonsense 2hr fantasy. Well over the top stunts and not even a scratch from all those flying bullets! Don't expect award winning acting, serious story lines or drama - its just a feel good movie with some good laughs thrown in.

My husband chose this one and I wasn't overly excited when it arrived on the door step but I really enjoyed it. Car chases good but not to many that it got too samey and the jokes were good. Of course Will Smiths physique was top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Disappointing. Will Smith is let down by a poor script peppered with a depressing amount of pointless swearing and violence. The car chases and gun battles fill most of the film, leaving little time for a story. Unfortunately, it also lacks the humour that Smith brought to independence day and Wild Wild West. after hearing bad things about this film I was nearly put off watching it. It is a bit cheesy and some of the action is slightly incredible but generally I found it to be a laugh a minute. I cant imagine why anybody wouldn't enjoy this film, a good second installment.

The movie takes time to get going.However the action parts are very explosive. Certainly worth watching just for the fast moving action.

Bad Boys 2 is an Excellent, Funny, Action Packed film following on from the outstanding first Film. Unlike most sequels it matches if not overtakes the first film for a story line and doesnt make you think humm seen it!!! Bad Boys 2 has more bang, more boom, and faster scenes.

I really had high hopes for this film as i had enjoyed the irrevelant take in the classic buddy movie in the first film, boy was I disappointed by this stupid, dumb and crass follow up. The set pieces are incredible, but pointless and i still have trouble with the whole final 30 minutes where our 2 Miami cops decide that they have to invade Cuba. This film made me angry.

It's like the '80s all over again: we've got buddy cops, destruction of city property and reckless endangerment, the Captain ain't gonna like this. If you want some good action and not much else this is the movie for you. It also has some cool photography but you may not notice this while the action is in full flow. It might as well be Lethal Weapon but with two black guys and no exploding toilet.

Take two cops have them shout at each other rather than have any intersting dialog, have them drive very fast and crash into things and then watch them invade cuba.
The A team had more feasible plots and at least wouldn't drive through exploding favelas massacring tens of innocents because it would make it more exciting.
Looks great, it's shame it's such noisy bs.

If you are like me, you might think, I quite liked Bad Boys, this will be good for a laugh. But don't whatever you do get this film out. It's an absolute stinker. Its not funny, or exciting or anything that the original film was. And it goes on for ABSOLUTELY ages. Its got to be at least 1 hour longer than is reasonable for this type of movie. The film is so bad, you forget why you liked the original film or any actors in it. If I could give this less than 1 star I would.

Mindless excitement from start to finish. especially look out for the chase scene where it takes two guys in a Ferrari 20 mins to chase down an articulated lorry, they should have taken it out of first gear! the eagle eyed will spot how the cars headlight, shot-out before the chase, miraculously repairs itself mid-chase only to be broken again at the end.

effortless comedy, entertaining film, good use of F word

This really is pure entertainment, leave your brain outside and enjoy.It is an action packed film, fast moving and very funny. It is brilliant and one to keep in your library. Bad Boys 2 is even better than Bad Boys. Going by some reviews we read, it must have been a different film than the one we watched!

Sequels are rarely better than the original but can be just as good. However, in this case, Bad Boys wasn't that great to justify a sequel in the first place! The movie is ok in terms of plenty of action, some funny parts but where it falls down is the ropey acting by the so called villians and the plot which is stretched. The film is 2 hours 2 long and should have been condensed to one and hour half. An average movie to be watched on an average sunday afternoon!

What a load of rubbish. Best bit of the film - car chase, worst bit - the rest of the film. It wasn't funny, it wasn't a good story and it was far too long! And could someone explain to me why the good guys always hit the target and the bad guys always miss?

OK so we know that Bad Boys was an early Will Smith film and not too bad for that sort of buddy cop movie but it took too long to make the follow up. Granted there is a lot more money about for stunts etc but someone forgot to put a storyline in and also to tell Will Smith that he was in this once too. OK if you want a no brainer where once again the unmarried cop falls for his partner's sister - oh please! Fast cars, good stunts, easy watch - bit of a disappointment.

ok its a bit like the first one but that's why if its not broken you dont fix it. It goes on a bit but the effects compensate for an old tried and tested plot. Its quirky and entertaining and well worth a watch.

I enjoyed this, mainly because of Will Smiths' humour, but apart from the usual mix of gun violence and car chases and more gun violence, this film was too long. It could have been fitted around 1hr 30mins if they had taken out the rubbish. 3 stars for Will and an ok film.

A stunning performance from Will Smith and his accomplice. If you liked the first one you will love the second. Excellent stunts and enough action and humour to keep you seated to the end.

The original Bad Boys is one of the best Buddy Buddy films out there. At times smart and funny with Heros you can actually care about and a villain who oozes menace. That’s before you even get to the high octane action and the length of Tea Leonis skirts.

Given the stellar rise of Will Smith since then and the ongoing fall of Martin Lawrence it is no real surprise that the follow up took so long. All of the original cops are re-united and only Will Smith’s romantic interest is replaced. Miami still looks great and all of the action is well put together.

It is also far to say this is far and away Martin Lawrence’s best film since the original but it is also one of Will Smith’s worst. The story tends to drag between action and you never really buy into the bad guy. The film does kick up a notch at the end with a good final action series of set pieces that make the film worth watching on it’s own.

So worth watching - but rent the original Bad Boys first and be prepared for a disappointing sequel.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Think the last half hour was a step too far, and think Michael Bay has lost his knack a little bit (this didn't reassure me that he's returned to the golden age of The Rock, Bad Boys, Armageddon) but still does exactly what it says on the tin...and Will Smith is a real movie star now.

Look at the two movies together and you can see that.

Well other than total rubbish I don’t think there is any other word to describe this film without it being censored.

And why does Will Smith keep on shouting Move, Move all the time as he travelling 100mph on the roads when the pedestrians and cars will not be able to hear him.

"Bad Boys 2" Stays true to the original style of the first one, a slightly more violent than most action film with plenty of humour and thrills. The 2 hrs 20 minutes film races by and the only criticism is of the cinematography and editing on the car chases. The second you get a chance to enjoy the fantastic stunts and speeding cars they cut to oddly angled shot of a wheel or Will Smiths teeth.

Aside from that if you liked the first or are after an action movie as opposed to plausible thriller then this is for you.

This film is a sort of carry-on from Bad Boys.

The same actors, and theme, which helps keep the plot going. Will Smith carries on his famous gun-ho action scenes, and adds a whole new meaning to the idea of 'going for therapy'. Martin Lawrence tries to show the world that he doesn’t need his partner anymore, but fails in doing so.

Plenty of action scenes, and high-class vehicles all add up to be a high class film.

Bad Boys 2 just carries on the drama from Bad Boys.

In short, it started with promise then lost it's way and included some very poor taste stuff. I don't know who the target audience is as I thought that it alienated everyone.

Starts off as a more of the same - a high octane buddy movie, cops, car chases, a romantic interest. All entertaining until the last half an hour, where it then descends into a mini US invasion of Cuba. which just wasn't really believable.

Reminded me of the last half and hour of pearl harbour.

I really enjoyed this movie having been not too impressed with the first. Put your brain in neutral and you'll love this movie!

This is such a fast paced film, there is always something going on, if you blink you will probably miss a major part.

I did enjoy it, but it was a bit OTT with the car scenes, boat scenes, helicopter scenes, gun scenes, car scenes (already said that but there are loads).

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are brilliant together and are just as good a team as in number 1.

I bet they had every parent taking note in one particular scene; watch it and find out.

This is worth watching twice!

Simply better than the first and thats saying a lot. Willis Smith and Martin Lawerence are great. Action all the way basically just what everybodys looking for in a rental.

After being forced to watch Bad Boys and thoroughly enjoying every minute of it, I was like a little kid on Christmas morning when I heard they were making a sequel. Like many other millions of people, I flocked to the cinema and sat in anticipation for the re-emergence of Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett into the Miami crime scene.

Unfortunately, I left feeling I had been robbed of three hours of my life for very little in return. Bad Boys II is slow moving and lacks the humour and action Bad Boys was responsible for. Although the characters are the same and have the same chemistry, the plot is slow moving, the special effects are just too special to actually seem real and the length of the actual film is unnecessary and quite frankly hits the last nail into the coffin of Bad Boys II.

However, I did rent the film again and I watched it all with an open mind thinking I had been a little harsh the first time round. If you fancy a night in with very little thought needed then rent it, you might actually enjoy it. However, if you are hoping for something to rival the ever pleasing Bad Boys, don’t bother, your three hours could be better spent elsewhere.

This movie tried to be too many things and failed on all accounts. It tried to be a funny 'Rush Hour' type movie with the stunts and effects of 'The Matrix' and the action of 'Commando'. It was one of the few movies I couldn't even finish. Avoid this one at all costs.

One was excellent and fresh two took to long to come out but it was well worth it and to see Mr Smith and Mr Lawrence back in their suited roles as the finest. Well impressed with this film its really worth renting this for the action and laughs.

This film doesn't take long to get warmed up but, it does take a long time to watch! It seemed to go on forever and although it was a good film you did start to wish it would just hurry up and finish.

The two main characters played by Will Smith and Martin Lawerence, seemed to bicker alot more than in the first one. This was the basis of a lot of the jokes but it did get a little tedious at times and they started to sound like a couple of kids squabbling in the playground.

If you want a nice easy film to watch, that doesn't take alot of effort to follow, then this is the one to watch. It's funny, it's got plenty of action and the best car chase I've seen for a longtime, even if it is a little far fetched. Enjoy.

I wasn’t a fan of the original Bad Boys, and am generally not a fan of Michael Bay films as he has a tendency to make them overly silly, but I came to Bad Boys 2 for one reason and one reason only, the action. It’s the only thing Bay can direct, and it was the only thing keeping me watching this silly film.

Stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are annoying throughout, not so much because of their acting abilities (Lawrence was surprisingly good in the more serious bits of the movie) but in that Bay seems to think comedy only involves two people shouting at each other a lot.

We have here a turgid script that paints Smith’s and Lawrence’s characters as slightly dim-witted, overly violent and unforgiving crime fighters who spend an awful lot of the time either killing bad guys, or having hissy fits at one another.

The action is fine, silly but well staged. The freeway scene is suitably destructive, there are plenty of gun fights, even a completely over the top final action sequence that takes place in Cuba and see’s Smith and co. taking on the Cuban army, guarding the main baddie of the piece. But at two and a half hours long these scenes can drag on, and with nothing interesting in-between each gun battle Bad Boys 2 can be a real test of your patients.

Go for the action, and don’t expect much else.

I liked this film! A lot of people gave it bad press, but I think it's ok. Admittantly it's not the first film and the fact that everything is now a lot more pretty as it is evident the budget has pretty much tripled, takes away what grittiness the first one had.

Apart from that, it was a harmless film. It's not hard to follow the story, it's just your brainless action flick with usual banter between Lawrenson and Smith. The baddie was quite dull in this one and the ending seemed a bit too convenient and unnoticed in typical Hollywood style there are lots of explosions, but nobody calls the police.

If you're not looking for something taxing and you've got a powerful stereo system, it's worth a watch.

With a huge gap inbetween these two you may be forgiven for thinking that it would be a really bad idea to make this sequel. You'd be wrong!

Watch it and realise that there is an amazing chemistry between these guys that makes you feel that 'Bad Boys 1' was only out 6 months ago.

Rent this is you like car chases, gun fights and loud bangs. Enjoyable buddy cop film in the same vein as Lethal weapon etc.

It's not what I expected from two major names of Hollywood.

This is an action packed movie, a car/fight scene on the highway was really good. Coupled with the same sarcastic comedy by both the chaps.

I loved the first 'Bad Boys' as it was an excellent 'mindless' shoot em up film - this one has similar content but is ruined by a stupid anti-Cuba plot.

Americans may believe the false information they've been fed which has led to the 40 year sanctions but the rest of the world knows how false it is. Leave the right wing political bias on the cutting room floor, change the 'drug country' to a made up one and the film would not be so bad.

This needs a re-edit for a rest of world release.

Honestly, the opprobrium with which this was greeted when it was released, you would have thought that it was advocating putting children up chimneys and the immediate killing of rational thought. Look - it's a Will Smith action film. It co-stars Martin wouldn't it be funny if he was as funny as he thinks Lawrence. It's directed by Michael BAY, for goodness sakes - a man who probably still lies awake at night wondering whether he should have made "Pearl Harbour" just a little less low key.

Fact is, you're going to get precisely what you think you're going to get here, so whether you like it or not depends on whether you want to get your brain put into a blender where everything is louder than everything else. It's big, it's dumb, it's full of coming attractions - missed the jawdropping and totally OTT action sequence? Don't worry, another will be along in 10 minutes - and in its place, in its context, there's nothing wrong with that.

To be honest when I first watched this film in the cinema I thought it dragged a little at the begining, but got better in the second half. Now I have seen it again, it didn't seem to drag at all, and turned out to be a very entertaining film. Of course it is a very silly film, with the usual drug lord storyline, and the usual stereotype characters. But it is great fun- it's meant to be part comedy after all, you're not meant to take it seriously.

I thought the car chase was spectacular, as is the climactic shoot-out. On the down side, the whole idea of the cop force going mercenary and invading the drug lords home in cuba goes a little too far over the top, even for a tongue-in-cheek film like this, and the chase through a village of tin houses on a hill with two cars is ripped straight out of Police Story with Jackie Chan (although this film probably shot it better). Other than that, if you like your fast action with some great laughs in between, and if you liked the first one, then you should like this. Remember not to take it too seriously!!

Saw the first one, thought it was great. Funny, fast, action, all the things you want from this type of movie.

BB2 is a pale imitation, no ideas, so formulaic that it was insulting. The movie equivalent of pre-chewed food, absolute gruel!

If sadism, misogyny and total disregard for human life are your bag, then you won't fair much better than this pointless wall of violence.

Bodies explode, dead topless women are exploited, corpses are pushed all over a freeway, and it’s all done in the name of coolness. Hey! It’s Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, wise cracking their way through another pile of bodies.

In one scene, a gun is waved around in a young kid’s face. His crime? Wanting to date Martin Lawrence’s daughter. Oh, how they must have laughed about it afterwards! Ever had a loaded gun waved around in your face? It’s a gas - even more so if it accidentally goes off.

But, it’s not all laughs. Notice how the comedy ends when Lawrence’s sister is kidnapped. The tone turns very serious. Now were supposed to be concerned for her. And share Lawrence’s and Smith’s pain. I wanted her to die. I wanted her to be shot to bits in front of Lawrence and Smith so that they would feel the pain. Predictably though, she is rescued and guess what? The second she is clear, it’s back to exploding bodies and the usual hysterical banter.

At least they spent a bit of time on the script. Some guys have lots of drugs and the Bad Boys er……catch them. Yeah, M. Night Shyamalan is bricking himself.

If this passes as entertainment nowadays, then I'm very worried about the society we live in.

Bad Boys 2 is definitely one of the best action movies out. It's a mix of fast action and comedy that never lets down. This is a much better movie from Bad Boys. Fast cars, insane gun fights and a hilarious duo of Smith and Lawrence makes this an extremly fun experiance.

Bring on Bad Boys 3!!!

Action sequences are just outstanding and amazing. Very violent and plot line is a bit implausible and cheesy at times but for a hit of pure adrenaline escapism this fits the bill and Will Smith looks just so hot!!!!

Let's be honest - you know exactly what this is going to deliver, and it delivers it in spades. Very entertaining in a dumb, Bruckheimer way.

Dismembered bodies, poor language, sex scenes; not really suitable for 15 year olds.. The action is great and I'm sure the story line is good but we couldn't watch beyond the dismembered body in the first half hour. I was trying to skip unnecessary sex scenes but it all got too difficult to manage. I recommend you choose another film if you want to keep a clean mind. I misjudged this one badly.

Very good film, plently of action, plenty of comedy, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence make a brilliant team.!

good film enjoyable if a tad long the two main actors work very well together and bounce off each other the language is what u would expect a bit choice but its very funny as well

If you dont like the Macho Cop & Rediculous scenarios dont bother - its full of both. If you do, run and get it. Unbelieveable action scenes that were well crafted and put together. Sometimes the buddy buddy bonhomerie got a little over the top, but all in all a fun movie with an amazing series of set 'incidents' and incredible car driving . They kind of 'ignored' how the rest of the team finished up at the end - but all in all, a good chuckle. Take it for what it is, pure entertainment, put away the intelectual pretense and chill out for once, you will not regret it.

How can a film so full of noise be so dull? This 'film' is a gun-and-shiny-metal fetishists dream, but it's lazily done (gun shoots out car lights, next shot they've re-grown, for example) and would fail to hold my attention even after several pints. Negligible plot, more a sequence of razor-blade commercials. Give it a miss. If you can 'switch your brain off', maybe you should switch it on again and rent something else.

this film is so good. it is exciting, side splitting funny and one of my favorites.its just as good as the first film if not better. if you dont enjoy every minute of it comedies are not for you!

There are very few films out there that can produce a sequel which is just as good or sometimes better than the first. This is one of those films that delivers better than the first. Its got guns, explosions, car chases, beautiful women, guns, humour, guns, shooting and did i say guns. Its one of my most favourite films and i think will smith and martin lawrence are a great comedy duo together. Watch this and you will not be dissapointed

Bad Boys 1 is an awesome film.....whereas Bad Boys 2 is terrible ! It should have ended 40 minutes before it actually did !

You'll love this film because its so energetic, and with lively humour not dull black humour. Its great scenes and massive hype don't let the film down at all, actually could say this is one of my favourite films now. Will watch again someday !

watched this again last night on a spur of the moment, lets do it impulse kind of way. was really in the mood for a good edge of your seat action flick and it didnt disappoint. used to think the first was better but after seeing this again after such a long time put it all into perspective for me. as good as the first was it couldnt match this for the sheer adrenaline that it creates such as the various car chases and shootouts. glad i took the time to give it another chance.

If you like plenty of action then this is the film, like most american action films you wonder how they never get hurt, but then you know there not going to, its a film where you have to sit and watch it all, because if you dont you will miss what it is all about, still a good watch, when i first saw Will Smith did not think much of him, but have changed my mind, hes growing on me with every film he makes, talented actor.

Ok movie, but not as good as the first.

More wisecracks and mayhem from Mike Lawrence and Will Smith. The great car action sequences just about make up for the ludicrous plot. It was about drugs in dead bodies, but who cares?

In the first installment the jokes were not scripted in the second they were it shows! I am a Will Smith fan. It's worth seeing but don't rush....

They're mad n' bad. Great action film with a great rapport between Smith and Lawrence. Plotline a bit thin but this can be forgiven just because of the constant pure energy that flows throughout a film that never lets up from one action scene to the next.

Will Smith running, posing, looking kewl. Martin Lawrence gurning, moaning, whinning. Not much of a story, but good, if not cliched action and some laugh out loud moments. This is a parody of Bad Boys. On crack. Typical MTV Super-Cop buddy-buddy boarderline reversed-racism action movie. Good points: Henry Rollins. Bad points: Underuse of Henry Rollins.

This was an awful movie that just went on and on and on...The best part being the end credits.

The same old rubbish as the first one but now grown stale. The only thing worth watching is the Ferrari. This film is watchable but only if you have nothing else to do. Stunts are corny, as is the dialogue and the predictable storyline.

good film like the 1st

Bad Boys was always a favourite film of mine. The arrival of Bad Boys 2 was long awaited and i was not one bit dissapointed. The film also has a good ending, as when you think the film has finished, there are another gripping/thrilling 30 minutes of actiont to take in. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith together are legendary, and unbeatable! Another great film to better the first.

Gr8 film love Will Smith and Him and Martin Lawrence bounce off each other fantastically. Great humour,action and pace.

I am a big martin lawrence fan anyway but this film is funny as hell and has some REALLY funnny bits like 2 ratsh having sex hahaha

Yawn. What a dull film, not at all what I expected. Will Smith may be sex-on-a-stick but when he wasn't slow-motion-posing-in-a-vest I found it hard to pay attention.

The plot was ropey, Martin Lawrence was even more whiney than in the first film and the Cuban villain’s accent was laughable. I couldn’t even be bothered to find out how it ended. I switched off in the middle of another, long drawn out, unengaging chase scene.

Come on Big Willie! You need to be getting your top off in a better class of movie!

Quite a good action film, but far too much 'Effing and Jeffing'. Nearly every other word is an expletive. Don't show it to the kids - you have been warned!

Wow! I would never have thought that Bad Boys 1 could be knocked, but Bad Boys 2, is 10 times better.

It has everything an action-film-buff would need from a sequel; more action scenes, funnier lead characters, and all set in the beautiful surroundings of Miami.

When it comes to sequels' I am always pessimistic, and weary of spending my time watching them, but with this film, it is a must see.

If you have seen the first you must watch this, not many films have a sequel as good as the first but these guy's have got a hole in one.

The plot is good and gets better, the guy's work so good together that you would think they had been partners for years.
