Prison Break - Season 3  (2007)

You would have thought that by the third series there would be nothing left... the action is as gripping as ever with twists and turns... only small downside is it can be a little predictable. The series will keep you glued to the TV all night!!

Probably the best Prison Break season so far - and that's saying something as the other 2 seasons were brilliant! Fast paced throughout with twists and turns in the plot aswell as the characters...nail biting stuff! Meant to watch each dvd at leisure - but couldn't do it - way too exciting! Watched each 4 episode disc in one sitting. Entertainment done to perfection :-)

Okay, this third series isn't as good as the last 2. I'm blaming the writers strike as I'm sure series 4 will be a return to form. The decision to base all the action in Panama was a mistake, as was the removal of some key cast members (I won't give it away!) but if you're in two minds as to rent the series I'd say give it a go. It a flawed yet still entertaining 13 episodes.

I give this one star because of the high standards I'd come to expect from this series. Series 1 was fantastic, Series 2 was entertaining, but this is just unrealistic tripe. Very poor.

Great Eye Candy for the girls.............but the story line has become too predictable I doubt I'll watch the fourth season PB 1 & 2 were wikid compared to this lame follow up Best Characters Michael Scofield (The gorgeous Wentworth miller) (Cwor) and T-Bag

this has to be one of the best series ever aired on tv love it a definet must see

I was unable to catch this series as it was only on Sky and as I don't have a Sky Contract I was most disappointed. I have now seen 3 out of the 4 disks and am patiently awaiting the last disk in the series. I hope it won't be too long now as I returned the last disk some time ago. I don't know how much further they can go with this series but it has been great.

I am a MASSIVE fan of Prison break, so it hurts me to even write this review which is slighly negative. From a personal point of view, season 3 didnt hit the spot enough!! by far season 1+2 were absolutly outstanding and they had me on the edge of my seat every episode, however, season 3 didnt have the same effect. Dont get me wrong, its still fantastic but just missing the wow factor!! I also had to add in here that season 3 is only 13 episodes long, due to the writers scrikes that happened in America, they had to lose 10 episodes, which is sad and also disappointing from a fans point of view, as the box set still retails at the same price as season 1+2. Maybe this is the reason it wasnt as good?? On a brighter note, season 4 can only get better!! and i cannot wait!!

Wow !!! Prison break continues into its 3rd season and it just gets better and better and even more intriguing!! The tables have turned for Michael Scowfield and Lincoln Burrows now,Burrows now being a free man and exhonourated from all charges,faces the toughest challenge yet and one he thought he would never have to face,being on the right side of the fence and facing the task of getting his brother out of Sona,the horrible prison in Panama and with the way things look........there simply cannot be no escape!

The first series was brilliant The second series started to get corny and drawn out This series is mindnumbing and has spoilt what was a thrilling start in series one. It just goes on and on and on and is corny beyond belief its more like Crossroads now with lame plots and utterly stupid actions and storyline. Yet again a fantastic plot drawn out to make the extra buck that dissapoints in series 3

Prison break was addictive from the start and the plots were amazing but the writers strike clearly ruined the final episode as the show ended very abruptly. So dissappointed. Despite the ending, the third season was a great instalment to the shows' running success of brilliant suspense and action.

The first series was excellent, the second was average. The third, dire. I made the mistake of watching an episode after just watching The West wing. Yes, a totally different show, but in terms of quality it made see how bad Prison Break had got. I recommend you skip so it doesn't ruin the series for you, and go watch 24 instead.

...is not something I often say about DVD TV Series' however these new episodes are just as nail biting and tense as the ones before, highly recommend the whole series.

.... I wouldn't mind being locked up with. The plot's gripping and the suspense is unbearable in this cleverly written and directed drama. There's bloodshed, guns, fighting, hot girls, and even hotter guys. Happy days! I don't know if I'm going to be able to last till the next series...

Looking forward to getting the other discs now. Thought Season 2 had pushed the concept a bit far, but this really works.

Best series yet, just a shame it was cut short due to the WGA strikes.. Looking forward to season 4..... Season 4 is reported as being the best season yet, with old cast members coming back, namely Sarah Tincreti. Both Michael and his brother are reportly breaking back into a prison to rescue his friends.. Only time will tell ....

.... as entertaining and gripping as Season 1.

Absolutely loved this series it had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I wondered how they would keep the story line going but it is getting better every time.

What a dramatic season 3 can't stop watching and was though with it within a few days

I love Prison Break, and this season is as good as the last two. T'Bag is sensational.

Excellent as usual, but dissapointed that disc four only had one episode on it.

Thought it was very good expected that it would of got dull by now however I was very disappointed by the ending of it this time think it ruined the 3rd series for me. I made my boyfriend check there was no more episodes

Fantastic third season takes you back to the twists and turns of season one

Season 3 is just as amazing as the others. One small downfall was thge fact that it was cut short. Still brilliant!!!

We waited til we had seen the whole series before making any comments about Prison Break, And I'm glad we did it's been absolutely brilliant, What a great series of adventures a brilliant script and story, Right from disc 1 season 1 right through to disc 4 season 3, It keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times and you can't wait til the next disc arrives to continue watching how the story goes, so much so that it is one series that we would definately watch again at some point, I'm also led to believe that there is a season 4, If so we can't wait for it to come out on DVD

I have been catching up with this series while waiting for the next 24, and glad I did. Not as good as 24 in my book, but comes fairly close. OK you have to suspend belief sometimes, but hey this is entertainment.

Gripping as always this series was dragged out a bit and just as it finishes you're left hanging once again... come on series 4

It's really just lots of good looking blokes fighting and sweating and is therefore one for the ladiees. That said, it's all good fun and eminently watchable.

What can i say just as good as all the rest of the seasons.

If the plot wasn't so good I would watch this for the brothers alone. Those boys are utter heaven! I love this series, a total must see!

Not having Sky (i know, a sin!), so i have to wait until it comes on DVD, but then i can watch it all in one go. Good old Michael, you know he's always going to come out smelling of roses. Excellent series as ever.

This series, in my eyes, is as great as the other 2. Me and my partner are both big fans of prison break so we could'nt wait to watch this. It has just as much twists and plots as the last 2 and we watched the dvd in one go as we did'nt want to switch it off till it was finished!!! Can't wait to see Season 4,

A great continuation from season 1 and 2. A must see series that has everything about it to want you coming back for more. Intense plots, twists and turns, great characters that you love and hate. You just cant wait to see the next episode.

if it wasnt for Wentworth i dont think i would've watched this season. Its gotten very silly and far fetched. Ill still be waiting for season 4/5 to see how it all goes down tho.

Good nail biting plots and Panama looks fab.

I've waited a long time to see this series due to Sky winning the broadcast rights. It was well worth the wait!!!! For those who have yet to watch it, I won't spoil it for you, but will say that you won't be disappointed. This series was just as good as 1 & 2, with Michael & Lincoln once again in the thick of it. It was exciting, funny & sad & had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!! I look forward to watching the final series when it airs.

With shows like 24, Lost, Heroes, by the third series it can go down a bit. So I had worries for Prison Break. I shouldn't have. It is still a great show, better than I was guessing. Opening up a few new twists, and concentrating on fewer characters and a shock death, and keeping the escape on a short time scale (so it didn't basically turn into the first series again), I really enjoyed this. Can't wait for the next series.

got bored with this series not long into season 3 - just too unbelievable and same old, same old. they should have stuck with one series only

Prison Break works best when it does what's written on the tin. In other words, we want to see our hero plotting, planning, scheming and conniving his way towards a climactic prison break! Season 1 remains the best, a tightly wound and sometimes brutal adventure, with a complex conspiracy unravelling behind the scenes. Season 2, while satisfying, suffered from several plot implausabilities. Near misses and narrow escapes are quite believable within the confines of a prison yard; they are less convincing out in the open, where Season 2 picks up. Season 3 is a cracking return to form, bringing the action back inside the confines of the hellish SONA, a sweltering, festering prison in the heart of Panama. The only disappointment with this season is the shortened length, no doubt due to the recent writer's strike. At only 13 episodes, it feels a little rushed. Still, if you're a fan of Season 1, this is absolute must-see TV.

Excellent series superb acting and story lines. Can't wait for series 4 to become available.

Not as good as Seasons 1 & 2 but still worth watching if you enjoyed the first two. A few glaring holes in the plot but switch off your brain and don't take it too seriously. Having watched this the next series look set up to be a good one.

Things get even worse!

I enjoy this series but drives my other half nuts as it's like the duracell bunny - it goes on and on and on - annoyingly so - you get to the end and then - it's left again!!!! I don't have sky so I have to wait for the next lot of DVD's but bring it on - I gave up with lost but I'm sticking with this.

how can you not love this program?!?!? This season doesn't fail to deliver, although the plot is getting a bit long in the tooth now, there's still enough to keep you interest. The guys are looking great as usual, and the introduction of a girl baddie is great. there's a shock death, which sets the scene for the next season. Cant wait for the next lot.

Just one word - Excellent. I watched it on the television, but missed a couple of parts. It was well worth watching again - full of twists and turns and just when you think you've understood the plot something else is thrown into the mix.

It's like it will never end... but it is still very good! When I finish a disc I can't wait for the next one to arrive!

Prison Break has been one of the more original TV series of recent years, but now it's starting to run out of steam. This season has the usual suspects incarcerated in a lawless Panamanian prison. There are a few twists to the old storyline, but essentially this feels like a rehash of series one, only it's less compelling. Die hard fans will still enjoy it.

This season sees Michael in the notorious Sona prison and obviously he has to break out with other wanted and unwanted participants. Very smart storyline with twists and turns but most importantly it does not drag on too long which make the sason successful. This is not as good the first two seasons but still entertaining and addictive. Plus the silmey T - Bag is just as bad :)

Break prison I have just finished watching Season 3 Disc 1&2 just brilliant I can't for next disc to come, I am on edge of my seat wondering whats going to happen next!

This show is dragging out a bit but wanna watch the next season just to see what happens really!

Yet again this series delivers and leaves you wanting More,More,More.I loved it and can't wait for the postman to deliver the next installment.

Wentworth brillant as ever another great series

Prison break has been an excellent series from season 1 right the way through to the series now. I thought Prison Break was going to be another American disappointment. However, the good old 'yanks' have done a good one as always. I thoroughly enjoyed this season and will be looking to rent the next season.

Absoloutely loved series 1 and 2, had me gripped all the way through. Was not sure if series 3 could carry the storyline on so good, but it doesn't disappoint. Series 3, with Michael in Sona is fantastic, one of the best programmes I have ever watched. A lot of twists and turns, a few shocks and an exciting ending. Have bought boxset 1 and 2, may hav eto consider buying this series also.

Prison Break is fantastic, so much so I have had to go out and purchase it as I couldnt wait for each DVD to arrive. Well worth the watch!.

There have been mixed reviews wrt season 3....I'd concur that slightly weaker then the season 1 and 2 although when you get into it its still a damn good story line keeping you up late at night!! On reflection the change of scenery is a positive and the series benfits from something different....9/10 :)

Outstanding series, but not as good as the first 2. Prison Break works because it is fast moving, doesnt get bogged down and ends on a cliffhangers each episode. The clever dialogue, provokes tought and stimulates you , like reading a bokk ayou cant put down. These make the best programmes to watch and I highly recommend watching.

Just cannot get enough of these high, fast, and suspense at the end of each episode. Prison Break is a must for the person who likes sitting at the edge of their seat. If you have not seen the first episodes, I'll recommend it will make you feel excited and panic when you wait for the next disc in the post.

I have just finished the 4 seasons of this title and it was entertaining and intensive all the way through the series. A very surprising series and a must rent title for everyone to see. Five out of five.... Fantastic series

Nothing gets any better than this. That is the whole 4 series of Prison Break. I find it hard to find words. It's just everything that is amazing. The unexpected turns never end. The plots are unique. The acting is top class. The cast are top of the league. The ideas are pure genious. Just watch it.

.... you have to watch it purely because the fourth series is such an amazing piece of viewing! Looking at the greater picture I guess this was never going to be brilliant as when Prison Break series 1 was filmed it was all about seeing his plan and getting into the story watching the different long term plans come off. With this being back in prison it directly competes with series 1 and I just think that with series 1 being so amazing it had a lot to live upto. Which in my eyes it didnt. But all is not lost as you need series 3 to get the story leading to series 4 which really does finish the saga off well. So to sum it up I didnt think this series was that great, but on the bigger scale it still contributes to the greatest program ever to hace graced our screens.
